Had my wedding here the beginning of December. Would highly recommend the suites...Alison the wedding coordinator was amazing. Her communication was spot on and dealt with all my queries. Nothing was too much trouble for her.On the day margy looked after us. She made sure our day was fault less and perfect in every way. The day was well organised by the staff and the food was delicious. We were all looked after, everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much!Wish I could do it all over again ❤️

We went to the spa today for my husbands birthday. Staff were brilliant and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Afternoon tea served in a lovely area within the spa. The server bought us a decorated cake for my husbands birthday. The prosecco we ordered was provided for free as a birthday gift which was a lovely surprise. Enjoyed every minute and would recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my daughter's wedding. Was expecting a 4 star hotel, so was excited to stay here. HALF of the Hotel is currently housing refugees, so we were move to the executive suites. My room was nothing like executive. They were good enough to let us check in an hour earlier, which was great after an 8 hour flight from Canada.We got to our room, which was a nice size. The rooms are very dated and needed updating and replacing. The bathroom smelt and there was no toilet roll holder. The garbage can has seen better days. The hand rail in the bath was rusted. The sofa bed mattress was paper thin and my son could feel the springs. The ceiling was a mess and the AC was not working. They brought up a fan. The safe was not working, and we asked several times about it. The room are not dusted/cleaned and we had some sort of cooler fridge that looked like it needed to be condemned. We were finally offered to be be moved, but we had one night left and did not want to pack and unpack. The only thing that was good was the king size bed. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was not great. They were short staffed and tables were not cleared or cleaned off. Milk and juice was warm Cold food and very slow to bring fresh food out. They offered fried eggs made to order, which makes no since when you have already have put your food on the plate. The food was lovely for the wedding, but the toilets were disgusting. Paper towels were left on the counter, plus cleaning products and a mop bucket. The washrooms smelt awful.

I stayed this weekend for a wedding and found Pros and Cons to the Suites hotel. The Cons- The outside area and function room where not ready until 30 mins before the wedding.Guests where arriving with staff hoovering the previous nights confetti at and putting the red carpet out at 1.30pm. I had to clean a lot of items up from the function room floor and window sills. I asked staff to clear all items at around 10am and the cigarette boxes, rubbish, empty cups etc were still there by the cake at 1.30pm. I cleaned the window sills myself in the function room as they were thick with dust and had a large number of dead bugs on them.The temp bar was not set up in time and all bottled beers where warm. The staff were only accepting cash payments too. Which we was not made aware of.Pros - The wedding planner Margo was amazing. There was no job too small for this Lady and she stayed with us all evening to make sure that everyone was having a great time. Your bar team Joanne and Connor were incredible, they smiled all evening (even though Connor had injured his foot during his shift) they were polite, friendly and a credit to your team. All in all Margo, Joanne and Connor saved the day and pulled off a great event. I would suggest that you work on team building.Not to say that anyone was bad at all, they where all lovely but there is no team" overall. You could feel that each department would not help the other even if they had nothing to do and others had been running around like headless chickens."

Rooms would be nice but the aircon is broken making them unbearable in the heat last week. Had to have the windows open at night but very loud loading and unloading of lorries all night meant very little sleep.Leisure facilities closed for 'maintenance' (other reviews suggest this has been ongoing for a while) which they tell you at the last minute but don't reduce the price which is high without the use of a pool etc.Half of the hotel is closed to be used by Immigration and the way they have restructured the rest to make it work feels cheap and weird. Corridors which were clearer designed to be 'behind the scenes' covered with cloth to get to the restaurant etc. And the restaurant is now in a weird room with no windows other than in the ceiling.Food used to be really good but was just averageI was disappointed

Quiet clean and polite staff.We had a great night at the suites the meal was very nice and not dear. We were talking to the staff telling them we stayed there 35 years ago on our honeymoon night. We were given a free drink how nice was that thank you to Margo who served our dinner and to Joel from Blackpool who was excellent at making my wife’s cocktails he is a credit to the hotel thank you Joel. Our room was really nice too. The only problem we did have was the swimming pool was closed on the morning we left it would have been nice to have a early dip before breakfast I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not the hotel it used to be. Very poor communication informing customers that the hotel had been split into two, alongside main leisure facilities being unavailable. Email sent 2 days before, with very sketchy details in terms of the changes. Hotel has been split into two location, one half for main customers other half for home office/asylum seekers. Room cleanliness was very poor, the double bed that you pay for is simply two single beds just pushed together, big gap in the middle. Just was not an enjoyable stay, very disappointing.

The Suites Hotel & Spa Knowsley - Liverpool by Compass Hospitality
The place was wonderful. The service was quite good, polite staff, delicious food. The only downside was that the Leisure center was out of order so no swimming, no gym and no jacuzzi. They tried to make up for the disappointment by offering discounted rates on the spa treatments, which were absolutely enjoyable.My girls were disappointed because they are below 18 and did not benefit from this.On another note, the hotel should reconsider the housekeeping policy. Housekeeping only every 48 hours, is not very attractive.Otherwise, I would stay there again.
