Bank of Fleet Hotel
I went there for a dinner and a few pints. Great value and great sized portions if your hungry from hiking. Has a very local feel. Will definitely be going there again.

Hotel Una
I loved the modernist design of the rooms with a contemporary twist, the rooms feel like you're in an Agatha Christie movie adaptation, but with lovely contemporary details, eg asymmetrical headboard on the bed. The toiletries in the room were lovely, the view was great, we could see the sea. The service was nice, the breakfast, included in the price, was provided with room service. The location is very close to the sea and a local street with some great restaurants, many of which are mentioned in the local guidebook in the room. The decor of the hotel lobby has colonial undertones aka European view of Africa, which was the one major drawback of the hotel. Overall, great for a weekend getaway.

The Oval
I honestly only have positive things to say about this cottage as it really is perfect in every way. We fell in love with Dunster well over a decade ago and finding The Oval has meant our family returning for countless visits. Lucy and her team are just amazing and make this cottage a real home from home. The kitchen is excellent making preparing meals a real joy. There's a lovely big dining table when you can sit for hours before moving into the living room to relax in front of a real fire. All three bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds, you won't be able to decide which is your favourite. There's even a beautiful raised decked area at the back of the cottage where you relax with a glass of wine or hot chocolate depending on the weather. The cottage itself is in a great location as you have the beautiful village of Dunster to wonder around as well as countless walks all on the doorstep. There is absolutely no way you won't have a happy, relaxing holiday here.

Victoria Park Hotel
First room we were given was awful. It was not clean, the cups were stained, the bin was full. The toilet was blocked with toilet paper and didn’t flush. The beds had plastic hanging off them. The carpet was stained and all the plug boards were hanging off the peeling wall. After being asked to move, the second room we were given was slightly better. It had a working toilet but still stained cups etc. The shower did not work properly but we made do with what we could. The hotel isn’t in a great location and beware at night it’s not that safe. The hotel is open 24hrs, so, convenient if you want to go out and isn’t too far from either the city or Fallowfield. Staff were friendly and polite although tried to get more money out of us by telling us the wrong check out time but this was swiftly sorted in the morning.Overall, I wouldn’t stay again. It’s cheap but not worth it.Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast.

Townhouse No 12
Easy access, no issues, room was large. Just dark and blinds were drawn due to window overlooking the back garden which needs some TLC.I understand house rules but the front door had too many and then repeated inside too. I'd just remove them, make a room booklet with it all in.I'd add some wall lights to make it brighter. All these are just little things but all in all no problems at all.

Cathedral Hotel
The reception was a little hard to find as it was in the old building, but the lady moved above and beyond for us. The hotel is currently being refurbished and we had one of the newer rooms. I was really worried at first and when I got there was so glad, great value for money and very clean. Got a little cold at night could’ve done with a better heating system, and no mugs in the room! If you want a drink you need to bring a cup. But overall was very happy with the stay! These reviews need an update!

Somerset House Boutique Hotel
Warm spacious bedroom, was at top of the building so perhaps this should be mentioned at time of booking for guests who might struggle. Parking was available. Extensive breakfast selection, I had eggs beneidct which was delicious, very attentive staff and quick service.

Hilton Cardiff
Has been my go-to hotel for years whenever I come home to Cardiff and have always been happy with it, but this is the first time I've had time to use the pool and spa, and the changing rooms were like stepping into a different building: broken/rusted lockers, broken ceiling tiles and broken locks on the shower doors, used plaster left on the bench, steam room with no steam, surly receptionist. It's a shame because the spa/pool was always a big factor for me in choosing this Hilton compared to other local hotels, I just never had the time to use it until this week. That being said everything else about the hotel is great, so if you don't plan to use the pool/gym it's 5 stars.

The Pack and Carriage
Friendly helpful staff. Their is no lift on the premises but the staff helped us with our luggage. We weee traveling for a wedding so we had more luggage than normal. If your just visiting for the weekend and traveling light this place is the place for you. I would stay here again if ever I am in London.

What a gem of a Hotel this is, fabulous location 300 yards to the beach. This is a dog friendly Hotel and the staff are warm and welcoming. The room was fabulous and the view breathtaking. The breakfasts and evening meals are superb. We'll definitely be coming here again.
