Park Inn by Radisson Palace, Southend-on-Sea

Stayed for one night with my mum for a little treat on a Living Social Deal. The Room was clean and tidy with sufficient facilities. The location was excellent for shopping and walking around during the day. We ate in the bar restaurant in the evening food was good and staff were attentive. Breakfast was good value for money for what we paid. It was a pleasure to meet the manager Yasin and I told him that my stay was good value for money for the one night. A very pleasant individual.

A very good hotel. We had a good time. We booked a sea view room. We could enjoy the beautiful sea view and the picturesque view of Adventure park.There are certian things which need improvement.1. The balcony was not clean.2. Some renovations needed, pariticualy carperts.3. AC was not working properly. We had to request fans but after some pleading only we got them.4. Breakfast menu needs to include more hot food, salads and fruits.

Nice hotel, bar was big and spacious but a little expensive. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable, the air con didn't work and the fan they gave us was broken, had to call reception twice to get a replacement.

Great location for functions. I attended a function on the last weekend of Aug and had a great time. The rooms used were a great size and location was lovely with a balcony

We have stayed here a few times now. The place is always clean. Very family friendly and the staff are friendly polite and help make my daughter's birthday extra special by wishing her happy birthday and the amazing cupcakes the chef made. The food is lovely great choice for breakfast. Thank u for making our time special there. Highly recommend.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. The hotel is in a great location with fantastic views overlooking the seafront.Sadly the rooms were a bit dirty and the hotel itself is in need of an upgrade.

Didn't have the best of rooms facing the car park. The car park no longer has a deal with the hotel. So expect to pay £20 for over 7hrs. This info is not on their website.Room was clean but the carpets are a mess.It was OK for stop over while going to the cliffs pavilion. There are other hotels nearby but for alot more money. Gets what you pay for..

Family weekend visit.Customer service was great, and nothing was too difficult. Advisors were very polite, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you to the young black girl (apologies, I forgot her name but think it begins with D)Requested a disabled room so had lots of space and wet room. Was able to check out at 1 pm. It wasn't too busy at that time of the day yet.Breakfast is not included, but you can request this. Choices of continental and full as well as fruit and yoghurt, etc. You can request fried or poached eggs.Very central to shops and amusements.The car park was across the road as they didn't have their own. It is quite costly and convenient but has no concessions for disabled parking, which is a shame.Signed up to their loyalty card for discounts.I would recommend this hotel on the hill and air con in the room.
