I can't emphasise enough the relief and gratitude that the team supported my family through the journey of getting our loved one into rehab. They made a significant difference in our lives and my loved ones life with their rehab treatment. Thank you so much!

Well I am utterly shocked and very dissatisfied with the care ( Or should I say lack of). My brother was treated appallingly to the point that even his basic needs were not met ie food and drink when he was hungry sometimes at night there was nothing available for him depriving him of his liberty eventhough he was an informal patient. He was so distressed that he tried to escape and became quite challenging. Also no communication between them and the families and they also lie about things that are important. I trusted what my brother was saying. Please be aware of these people they clearly do not care and lack empathy. People need to stand up to these and report anything that is not up to standards so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Drug and Alcohol Service Cambridgeshire
One of the worst services I came across. And it makes it even more dangerous as they are dealing with vulnerable people. The staff isn't trained to moderate sessions, no timely follow up, just some lectures which are rushed to fit in content. I would recommend to search for another organisation as not only it was a waste of time for me, their lack of care made me feel even lower.

Uplifting Therapies
I’ve had many treatments from Rachael - ear acupuncture and aromatherapy. I’ve felt amazing after each treatment and I’ve purchased oil blends that have been tailored to my needs that have really helped too. Rachael is not only an excellent therapist, she is extremely professional, has a warm, caring and empathetic approach and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Uplifting Therapies. Thank you Rachael.

Alcohol Home Treatment by Paul Turner
Paul Turner is absolutely amazing at his job. Great help when dealing with issues that are presented he always willing to go the extra mile and happy to help. Paul and his team help will help you to get your mind set in the right place to make that change for the better. As community support worker, when I have supported a number of users clients throughout Birmingham. I recall when I was working with a homeless gentleman in Birmingham, his beautiful words. that there was a old saying that Someone will shine the torch but its up to you to make the steps" if you really want it

Turning Point
I want to add some much needed balance to these reviews. I have worked for many services in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) field since 1982. For the last 2 years I have been in Australia developing AOD clinical services in NSW. I had the pleasure of working for Turning Point (Oxford) for over 2 years as a senior nurse, prescriber, clinical manager and shared care lead. From my direct experience of working with the team I can say they were hard working, dedicated, knowledgeable, client centred and always went the extra mile to help people. Client feedback was superb and literally 1000's of people have now got their lives back thanks to the support and help they received from my ex-colleagues. Of course recovery from AOD dependency is difficult and some people do need a few tries before they make the changes stick but, not one of my ex-colleagues would ever give up on someone and that's evidenced by the results they get. So, for anyone struggling with their AOD usage give Turing Point a try, you have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. Finally, I do not work for Turning Point any more. I live and work in Australia so I have no vested interest in saying what I have said about TP other than letting people know what my experience is of the Oxford TP service. I should also add, if I had a wish, it would be for a duplicate of TP Oxford to be available in Australia.

Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking & Drinking - Birmingham
Just someone narrating the book (which I had already read) although very stilted and difficult to listen to. The mispronounced words were off putting too (will power was pronounced as wall parr at least 40 times although she pronounced the word ‘will’ properly many others times when not followed by power…)I dozed off several times, and was so annoyed that I’d wasted the money.
