Meneage Dental

I’ve been with Meneage Dental for 1 year now and feel compelled to write this review because they’re good, really good. All of my dental work has been carried out by Dr Paul Hogg and Nurse Jess Tossell. Together they’re a phenomenal team: my smile has been transformed, numerous faults have been fixed and for the first time in a very long time I have an excellent foundation of dental health that previously I didn’t think possible. I first visited the practice with a broken tooth over the Xmas, period. The practice secured a rapid emergency appointment and the standard of the repair was so good I enrolled as a full time patient. I’ve been amazed at the huge variety of options available to me for tooth repair and cosmetic dentistry. Repairs that I’d thought impossible to fix were no problem for Paul and Jess - yes - they really are dental ninjas. The Practice is always welcoming and the staff polite with a great atmosphere of calm. A big thank you to all at Meneage dental.

The surgery is swish and the people are lovely BUT some of the basics, like providing receipts that satisfy dental insurance claims are not up to standard. I suggest that they Email full receipt s with treatment date, cost and stated as pain in full. If they do not improve this I will go elsewhere

The best service and care for your much needed teeth. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and this is first class. Why would you skimp on something that is vital to your health. Everyone so friendly and professional especially the receptionist Charlotte.

I've been a couple of times and they are friendly and seem good at what they do. However, my advice is to take care when arranging an appointment. I phoned to say I'd chipped a tooth/lost a filling and was fitted in the next day. On arrival I had an appt lasting a few mins only and was told I'd chipped a tooth/lost a filling and would have to go back for treatment. This advice cost £80 because it was an emergency appointment. I didn't know it was booked as an emergency, as I already knew what I'd done and it wasn't causing pain. So from my point of view it was £80 wasted, plus a long bus journey. Actual treatment when I returned was good.

Hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years befor I went to Meneage. First initial consultation took about an hour, they where very thorough with everything. They told me what I needed and I began treatment. I've now had 2 lots of treatment that I truly can't fault. Everyone is so friendly in there and talk you through everything. Nothing is rushed. I actually now enjoy going to the dentist!

I’ve been going to Meneage dental all my life and so have my family but after my last visit yesterday to the hygienist to see Amy I just had to leave a review.I cannot sing Amy’s praises enough!! She is just so so friendly and makes going to the dentist not a chore. If you are doing something wrong, she doesn’t criticise you but encourages you and explains why and shows you how to change your habits.When Amy was away on my last few appointments, I saw Chrissy and she was also incredibly kind and excellent too!

Thr staff make this place; always so polite, happy and welcoming. I have had to amend my appointment twice and it was no problem at all for them to accommodate this.

I can’t recommend the team highly enough.Having recently moved to the Helston area and after several years of battling to obtain a good NHS service, I decided to invest in in saving the remainder of my own teeth and Investigate the possibility of having some implants for missing ones.Paul, Jess and the whole team have been amazing. They provide a relaxed, welcoming environment and explain each part of the treatment clearly. My nerves where soon calmed and each appointment was on time, never rushed and amazingly pain free.Several months later I have my smile back!Thank you all so much.

It's such a shame our NHS has gone to pot and forced those (who can afford it) to go Private. But perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Meneage dental are superb, polar opposite of any NHS treatment I've received. Friendly, and time taken to explain what needs doing and a breakdown of all costs. TBH wish I went with Meneage years ago, would of saved all the stress and probably much pain trying to see an NHS dentist. All I can say, if you can, treat yourself to some proper self care in a great practice.
