Sturdy Sheds

After reading these excellent reviews I had no hesitation in ordering a 10x8 shed from this company. I also ordered the optional insulation as I planned to use the shed as a workshop. I was told delivery would be in four weeks. After numerous delays and with little or no communication from Mark or Steve the shed eventually arrived after exactly ten weeks. They said they would be back the next week to install the insulation but never turned up.There followed more ‘no shows’, again with no communication to explain their absence, and several weeks later they finally arrived to complete the work - over three and a half months from the original order date. The shed itself is of good quality but the insulation was poorly fitted in places and their idea of floor insulation was several off-cuts of insulation board pushed underneath the shed, instead of properly attached bubble wrap as per their specification.The total cost was £5,140, including a concrete base - a high price to pay for months of stress and frustration. My advice would have to be to steer clear of Sturdy Sheds until such time as they can return to the quality of service described in these earlier reviews.Postscript: I have since been contacted by Steve of Sturdy Sheds. He accepts my comments and admits that this work was not up to their usual high standards. He has offered to correct, at his expense, any faults with the shed or the insulation, for which I thank him. Hopefully, my experience will prove to be a one-off.

Concrete base fitted last week and this week our shed was installed.Great team to work with, we outlined what we wanted and Sturdy Sheds did all the rest. It's a great quality shed and we are very pleased with the outcome.We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I had an unusual design to make, A large Bat house, this was to be installed as part of the mitigation measures at a project I was under taking. The structure required was made well and was very 'Sturdy'. It should last for years. It arrived as planned and is now awaiting its first residents.I Would use Sturdy Sheds again.

I purchased a 14x8 shed in 19mm tanalised wood. The quality of wood used is excellent and the shed looks fantastic. Steve was very helpful throughout and makes sure the customer is completely satisfied with the finished product. He and Mark are a good team and I highly recommend Sturdy Sheds.

Absolutely amazing. I needed a shed but was unsure what type or size. Steve came round and was open, honest and gave me plenty of options to choose from. From the get-go Steve and Mark were absolutely brilliant. Kept me up to date with info and dates. The price was very good which can make you doubt the quality, be assured never doubt the quality from Sturdy Sheds. They provided a bespoke base and the shed is solid, made from really good wood. It fits in perfectly. A 1st rate job from start to finish. I will definitely be using them again and will always recommend them from here on.

Steve was great. Phoned him on the Monday for a price for 8x10 shed. He priced to take down and dispose of the old shed. Ordered Thursday. Steve took down the old shed on the Saturday and the new shed went up on the Sunday. 1 week from enquiry.Shed quality spot on, 19mm thick pressure treated. Double door with glazedwindows on 1 side.Not the cheapest but if you want quality and service Steve's your man. Highly recommend Sturdy Sheds to anyone who wants a good shed on time with no hassle.

We used Sturdy Fencing before and were very pleased so no hesitation in using Sturdy Sheds! Steve and Mark delivered exactly the style we asked for. Very good quality product and service above and beyond just installing our shed. Highly recommend these guys!

I recently bought a shed from Sturdy Sheds and would have no hesitation in recommending them. The shed is really good quality and was put up very efficiently. I opted for a rubber roof which should mean the it will need no attention for over 20 years.

Spoke to Steve two weeks ago and told him the details of the shed I was looking to purchase. He gave me a quote the same morning and I placed the order the same day. Today Steve and Malcolm turned up to deliver and Install our new shed. Fantastic quality and well worth the money. The guys were so friendly and professional and their attention to detail was absolutely great.
