Coffee and cakes are great but since the am/pm sessions have been taken away it's all a bit of a mess. It would be nice for the price paid if there was a staff member tidying every so often. As mentioned before lots of plasticky broken toys. Charge for young babies is a bit unfair since they can't really do much. Used to love it with my daughter but prefer other venues now with a bit more attention to tidiness.

Took gran children. Nice and clean plenty of room, lots of different rooms/areas setup. Nice sensory room. Plenty of tables and chairs, you can't take your own food or drink, they have a great coffee machine and have wonderful selection cakes and lots of food for children.

I really want to love this place but we have been 2/3 times and I just cannot look past the dirty toys and things that are broken. It needs a really GOOD clean and a proper refit of toys that are suitable for a lot of play. We’ve been as soon as it is open and the toys are just not clean. For the price of almost £8 per child I expect it to be clean, for toys to be properly maintained and appropriate for use.The cakes, tea/coffee etc are great hence 2 stars.

Wow! Highly recommend Yaya's house! My partner and I visited today with our 3 year old daughter and 9 month old baby, and we were very pleased with our experience. Was easy to get to, and plenty of parking space.Clean, spacious and so much choice for play! Pretend to work in a cafe, vet, fire station, theater and so much more. There is a large space for kids to run around, and even a sand pit with lots of diggers! Staff continued to tidy which really helps keep each area at its potential. There is a lovely little cafe facing lots of activity tables with puzzles and bits and bobs, an enclosed baby area with lots of baby appropriate toys and there is even a baby sensory room next door. There is also a private cosy area for feeding baby if needed.

I booked Yaya's house for the kids after the lockdown lifted, was a bit unsure if it would be suitable for my 5 year old, but him and the 2 year old loved it! We got there at 9am, plenty of parking available. Wondered through and checked in at the cafe area. Kids played a lot inside and did wonder outside a couple of occasions, but it was a bit cold so not for long!About half way through session we bought some cakes (which were nice), and the kids continued to play right up to our session close at 11.30am. The kids particularly liked the supermarket, cafe and firestation. It was good that the session wasn't to crowded, which certainly made it more comfortable and pleasant experience. Felt a bit sorry for the poor staff who kept trying to tidy, and my son didn't like where she was putting things and running round moving it all! ;-)A nice place to visit if your kids love to role play!

We went to the SEN Christmas session at yayas House. It was fantastic, Father Christmas was so patient and kind. It's great to find places that are inclusive for SEN and I hope they do it more often. Staff were so accommodating and the food and drink was fab.

Really disappointed with my most recent visit to Yayas house. The whole place is looking really tired, toys are all worn and tatty and very dirty. Everything in the garden needs a thorough wash. There was sand everywhere and it didn’t seem like it had just happened that day, the whole floor needed a good vacuum. Whilst playing with my little one in the icecream truck I looked up to see a thick layer of dust on the roof. Also the toilets were not maintained at all during our visit and are overdue new toilet seats as the surface looked like it had been sandpapered! We have visited here lots in the past, but feel the place needs a deep clean and updated facilities. I’ve given 2 stars as the food and drinks were nice, the little ones had a great time and some of the staff were friendly.

I’ve recently visited Yaya’s house and I must say I won’t be returning soon. The toys are all filthy and tatty. The battery operated toys do not function at all so what’s the point in having them there if they aren’t going to replace the batteries to have them working? It was the same the last time we visited. There’s trailing wires in the sensory room by the table and chairs, my nearly 2 year old got her foot tangled in the wire whilst sitting here and subsequently ended up tripping and hitting her head on the hard wood floor. I was told off for bringing strawberries for my daughter to eat. The food and drinks are not cheap so it ended up being a very expensive visit.
