In general: deliberately overpriced. Hanyman - Peter.I’m sorry for the company, but, hopefully they will take it on board.Prices per hour had been extended unnecessary. Job done halfway, plus, in an attempt to dispute the fee, I was given a long explanation how my property was unprepared for work (which is not quite correct, it was tidy enough without obstructions at all!), and how many physical moves it took to put a tv stand from one place to another..Can not recommend.

I’ve used Surrey Handyman a couple of times to install curtain rails and blinds. The problem with this company is that because they are effectively an agency with multiple tradesmen on their books, you don’t necessarily know the quality of work you will get ahead of time.My first visit was by Terrence, who installed a curtain track for me. He seemed to know what he was doing, and did an excellent and tidy job, and was on time. The second visit was by John Gallagher, who did the same work in a different room, as well as blind installation. He showed up late, and whilst the curtain fitting was done well, the blind fitting was not, as he ignored the instructions on the blinds not to fit a bracket over the cord exit.I then took down the blind to correct this myself, and found what can only be described as an appalling job with the holes that had been drilled. Even as an inexperienced DIY’er I would be embarrassed at the quality of this work.I did feed this back to the company, and have had no follow up apologising for this. As a result, I cannot recommend them.
