If it was possible to add below one star I would do, Swansea council should hang their heads in shame!!Applied for housing for myself, and my pregnant wife who is due in February, we are both disabled and I am a veteran of the British Army.On calling today, I was advised that despite our dire circumstances we are in position #350 to be housed! When I challenged the lady; Claire. (who had a chip on her shoulder from the moment she picked up the phone) I asked about the level of illegal immigrants who are housed BY Swansea council within 6 months of their arrival (after spending time in our hotels free) whilst there are up to 5000 veterans living on the street her answer was to contact my government to make a complaint. When I further asked, I was accused of being abusive and had the phone put down on me after advising me that I basically stood no chance in the foreseeable future of being housed!SWANSEA HOUSING SCUM!

Diane chin is my case worker and she is not helpful in anyway if you get put with her ask for someone else because you won’t get anywhere absolutely disgusting

They are Really very helpful they have agreed to meet me without previous appointment just because they have seen my medical problem, they have a good listening attitude, they are professional and they have respectable manner. I still did not get my officer meeting but I do believe they will contact me this week .

Diane Chin this message is for you. Our apparent homelessness caseworker who doesn’t care about mental health. You’ve made me feel so small and useless about my autism. I pray to the lord he helps us because surely a home is a basic human right? Looking at the other reviews I’m not the only one!I pray for all the people who find them selfs struggling mentally stay strong.

Absolutely useless losing my house in two months have a 10 month old and pregnant and still no one helping when I phone they are never in, house now has rats and unsuitable for my 10 month old and more than likely will end up on streets before any one does anything

I had the unfortunate luck to be placed with Diane Chin as my caseworker who at this moment doesn't know if I'm alive or dead and probably doesn't care. Treated me less than human, refused to take calls from my mental health team, ended up taking an overdose from the stress and lack of support. Avoid.

Shocking service. Emails of importance do not get answered. Applicants details are not checked over thoroughly, meaning delays in vital help. Even being threatened with homelessness seems to be brushed aside. The system is failing those who genuinely need it. Appalling lack of concern for private tenants facing section 21s.

Unhelpful I’ve been homless 9 weeks and no help at all keep getting fobbed off and ignored. Some staff our lovely others are useless really need to improve on communication
