The Chiswick Nursing Centre

I'm currently a resident of Chiswickhousing home and I can stay I can highly recommend it The staff are fantastic and very professional and take time in getting to know you and your needs I've bin here now for 8 weeks and it's the Best decision I've made

My father moved to The Chiswick Nursing Centre for the last 7 weeks of his life. He found the place to be comfortable and peaceful and I was impressed by the excellent and dedicated nursing care he recieved during his stay. All the staff I met were friendly and accommodating and always willing to talk to me and answer my questions.

My Mum only spent a weekend here, but the improvement in her health was extraordinary. Following a fall and a long period in hospital, I had to find a suitable place to look after my Mum until her room was ready at the care home she will be living in from now on. I am so grateful that I found the Chiswick Nursing Centre, they were a complete God send.I was under enormous pressure to find somewhere that could take care of my Mum's complex needs at short notice. I filled in the enquiry from on the website and was contacted by Marianne, who couldn't have been more wonderful. Steven came to the hospital the next morning, to assess Mum's needs and had everything in place for her arrival, a short while later.I knew, straight away, that Mum was in good hands. Her room was spotlessly clean and welcoming and every member of staff who would be involved in her care came to say hello.The Chiswick Nursing Centre strikes the perfect balance between taking care of a person's medical needs whilst also providing a relaxed and welcoming environment. It is safe, caring and professional. Every single member of staff has a caring ethic and treats each resident with the most amazing respect.I wholeheartedly recommend the Chiswick Nursing Centre. If it had been a bit closer to home, I would have placed Mum in their excellent care for the long term.

Please don't send your loved ones here. In my opinion, this Centre is one of the worst. This place is terrible, the senior staff and management are shockingly terrible. The blind leading the blind. We made a number of complaints to them highlighting a number of serious matters and issues, swept under the carpet is the phrase that comes to mind. The management team side with each other, they try to cover up mistakes at the cost of affecting the care they are supposed to be giving residents. It comes across as they do not care about the residents. If you do place your loved one here, my advice is to ask for policy and procedures on everything, because the staff make it up. They hate it if you challenge them and hold them accountable, they hate it if you stick up for your loved one. You've been warned. Look elsewhere.

Never seen such a home burdening staff with much work. burdening existing staffs saying staffs absent / shortage.

An unusual place to review perhaps, but my grandmother is here and whilst being in a home isn't 'nice', this place... is.Not her first home I'm able to compare to the previous homes she's been in and this one is vastly superior.There room, space for the 'guests' to move through the wide corridors to the main lounge room and also a garden (all of this on the ground floor) for them to visit should the weather be ok.The main thing that makes me rate this place highly is the staff. Compared to the poor attention I've seen given out previously, here the staff are like angels.They're great with visitors and most importantly with the residents, treating them fairly, not as patients but as real people who simply require assistance.I've been there at visiting times and also meal times when I've seen that all the staff there treat all the residents as individuals even under very trying circumstances.A thank you to them.

I live here for health reasons and it is the worst the management don't care! And very understaffed VERY! and you don't get what you pay for!

I have been visiting a friend here for nearly 2 years and have found that the staff invariably deal with all kinds of mentally disturbed patients magnificently. They always seem to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere in very trying circumstances. This is an excellent nursing centre.

My appreciation goes to all of the Staff and the caring Manager who looked after my Mother here I cannot find the words to ecxpress how kind,caring and understanding they were at a time when we thought all hope was lost.

My step father was here for several months but sadly passed away on Monday.I cannot thank everyone .enough for the tenderness and love they showed him.They were so gentle and caring,never hurried him and always had time to sit and hold his hand. His room was bright and airey overlooking the garden where a couple of hens strutted about. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Nicky Hainey
