My experience with Residential Estates has been excellent from start to finish. James has been so helpful in explaining everything throughout the process and answering all of my questions. There was never any hard sell or pressure. The entire team have been very helpful and professional. I am so happy that within a few short weeks my property was purchased, furnished and within a week of listing I already have 5 weeks of bookings! I can hardly believe how easy and stress free the whole process was. A fabulous service - THANK YOU!!!

In 2021 I bought a STL apartment via Residential Estates. Paul Winder gave me comprehensive advice and information. The conveyancing was straightforward and easy. The property I bought is managed by one of the joint freeholders and has been problem free for 2 years. Recently however I had issues which I needed advice and help with. I contacted Residential Estates who remembered me and were more than happy to help. Paul Winder has built up a considerable database of contacts and was quickly able to apply his knowledge and expertise to get a grip on the situation. Residential Estates supported me through the process necessary to quickly resolve my issue. Everything is now running smoothly again. Thanks Paul and the team.When my son also decided to invest in property last year I was completely confident enough to strongly recommend (actually insist!) that he took advice from Residential Estates. He now has a sound investment and has started his portfolio safe in the knowledge that Residential Estates will provide their invaluable ongoing support should he need it.In the next year or two I too will be expanding my own small portfolio of investment properties. I will most definitely be contacting Paul at Residential Estates to discuss my options knowing that he will undoubtedly be able to source a property for me to buy which will perfectly suit my investment requirements.

I'm not sure where you can leave a review for individual properties. We stayed in 'Cheshire House' and were very disappointed in the property. Check-in etc was smooth and convenient.Obviously the location is fantastic – perfect for everything you need from Castleton and surrounding areas, pubs, walks etc. It's clear you are paying for the location rather than the property.However, the house is very tired. The house is full of scuff marks and things that are damaged. The en-suites need ripping out and re-fitting. Shower door is broken in one en-suite, the shower handle is broken in the main bathroom. Generally dirty around the showers too. Sinks had large and dirty cob-webs around them. The soap dispensers were empty which was a real shame.The front door is in need of repair and upgrade. The curtains in the living room don’t even cover the windows which is very bizarre, stopping short at the bottom. On the positive, the beds were comfortable with nice clean bedding.The kitchen is basic but well stocked with essential cooking equipment. The accommodation was supposed to come with tea and coffee making facilities but, apart from a few tea bags, these didn’t exist. The kitchen itself is dark and un-inspiring. It would benefit from a glass rear door and outside bushes cut-back.Outside the hot-tub is nice but very boring, surrounded on one side by a huge and over-grown conifer, no nice lighting or planting. The house was advertised with only one parking spot out the front (which is there, so long as pub users etc don’t fill them as there is no sign for a devoted parking space), but with some repair to the garden gate or cutting back huge conifers that surround the property, there would be space for at least 2 cars within the grounds on the gravel in the garden. The little fire pit has no outside chairs or table around it other than a built-in wooden bench which is not comfortable or relaxing. No nice garden area to sit in.Considering the money that we paid for this, the state of the house was very poor and disrespectful for what we paid. Such a big house within Castleton could and should be so much more.
