Recently worked with APE on our new office fire and security system. They were affordable, helpful and knowledgable throughout the process of design to completion. Bethany in the office was particularly helpful when it came to setting up maintenance and monitoring of the systems.

First class service. As a landlord required to improve our premises at Bristol City Council's request, I was not familiar with the current regulations on fire/smoke alarms. APE visited, identified what was required and, after fitting was complete, tested the system & provided the necessary paperwork. APE will now cover the maintenance & certification of both alarms in one annual visit. Highly recommended.

I'm baffled by the positive reviews for A.P.E. We had our system installed by them 20 years ago, and serviced yearly. All well and good. Then a few years ago received a letter from them saying the man who'd been servicing our alarm shouldn't have been as he'd been fired some time back, which was creepy. I was told on the phone a yearly service wasn't necessary anyway. Then just before christmas, our alarm started making noises we couldn't stop. The pad was unresponsive and the alarm getting louder and louder. I phoned A.P.E to ask if they could please send someone round to stop the noise, but NO, they had absolutely no one who could come, nor would they let any of their 'engineers' tell me how to stop the alarm. Even disconnecting the battery didn't stop it. After about 2 hours, it stopped by itself. Then, to add insult, I discovered their phone number is a premium rate one, so just calling them had cost me over £20!

I inherited an alarm system when I moved into a new house. It didn't work and I had no idea how to operate it. I called APE after reading their good reviews.Jordan came to the house and explained exactly how the alarm worked for me. There was no hard selling involved. He was very friendly and professional and very patient !!!An engineer attended a couple of weeks later. Again , he was very knowledgeable and soon had the alarm up and running. He also took the time to explain to me how to operate the system.I thought it was very reasonably priced and all the staff I had dealings with were really helpful. Including the office staff Sam and Bethany.Based on my own experience with this company I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
