I'm very grateful for the help from my voice teacher, who being a singer also, takes such individual care about learning healthy and solid vocal production and execution, based on the teachings of the vocal pedagogues of the past like Manuel Garcia, etc, while also still being encouraging and honest to a fault. In addition to being forthcoming and straight-forward as a teacher, he has been a perfect gentleman towards me and never indulged in any corrupt or shady behavior, as sadly has become the practice of some, otherwise knowledgeable but depraved, voice teachers. If anyone is having trouble trying to find a voice teacher who is committed to teaching and learning healthy vocal technique for both students and colleagues alike and who does not believe in misleading, harassing, or abusing their prospective students - I can't recommend Mr. Chris Why enough. Thanks very much, Chris! :)

Then there was a break, and I re-started learning about 5 year ago only to give up again...Overall, back then, I tried probably about 6 singing teachers. Take your child somewhere else. The service we have received has been appalling from the start and I will be leaving a review to that effect too. We have been had nothing but problems, mistakes and cancellations. Despite emailing clear dates/times for lessons, we've shown up to no tutor, lessons have been cancelled/changed with no or little notice. We haven't been contacted when we should have and our son has been disappointed a few times. This is no way to run a business or to treat customers.Get Outlook for Android

Ruby is such a fantastic choir master. She brings so much joy to our weekly choir sessions and is always so positive, motivating, enthusiastic and does the best she can to make sure we all enjoy ourselves! She is of course an amazing singer herself and her arrangements and harmonies sound incredible and I’ve gained so much confidence in myself since I’ve joined her choir. Thank you Ruby - would recommend her to everyone!!

Anna is an amazing teacher, I’ve been working with her for about 5 months and my voice has become a lot stronger and clearer. Within 5 minutes of talking with her she had identified all the major issues with my singing - something no other teachers have been able to! She is really easy to get on with and has given me the skills to complete assignments for my songwriting degree and release my own music!

Got a voucher for 4-weeks tuition for my birthday and was so glad for it! I've learnt some really handy vocal warm ups and great information about how my voice works. Rach is a great teacher that responds quick and is really kind in making me feel comfortable to sing. Replies to enquiries are quick every time too.I've also noticed I've felt a lot more confident about singing more full out now and once I'm able to get a job myself I'll definitely go back to these lessons.

My daughters are studying piano and violin at Music Development. Their tutors are very friendly and talented. I am pleased with the safety environment they got while they're in. I am not hesitate to recommend The Music Development to anyone.

I had been experiencing problems with my voice for about 18 months before I found Chris. I had all but given up hope over ever returning to the 'glory days' of singing solos with my choir and with a concert band. After trying several different things and having any topical issues like nodules ruled out I started looking into the mechanics of the voice and came across Chris. I watched a few pod casts and could see he really knew what he was talking about! I decided to bite the bullet and book a lesson. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Chris is a lovely guy and genuinely concerned with getting on to see what he can do to begin to repair the damage. After just one session he had effectively diagnosed my issue and we had begun to work through some exercises to try and improve my voice. Within the hour there was already a huge difference! It just goes to show how much Chris knows about the voice. I went away with a load of exercises that I then put into place and practiced over the next few months. I returned to see Chris last week and my voice has improved so much since the first lesson. We worked through more exercises and then put those techniques into practice whilst singing. I feel like my tone has returned and improved so much. It really is amazing what small changes and just being more aware of how the voice works, and how my own voice works, can make all the difference. I'm not able to see Chris regularly but I don't feel that this hinders my vocal recovery and he is always kind enough to email back if I have a query. I really felt after 18 months of issues that I had lost my ability and my talent but Chris has helped me regain it in a much more healthy way. I can't recommend him more highly.

I've been taking singing lessons with Sing Out Sister for nearly 9 months now and every single session has been absolutely amazing and I look forward to every single one! I came to Christabel with absolutely no knowledge of how to sing or where to even start but after not much time at all I feel as if I have not only found my own voice but also have built up a very noticeable amount of confidence as well. The sessions are a brilliant mix and variety of theory, exercises, practice of technique and it is always attuned to you, what you need to work on. She has what seems like an infinite amount of knowledge of the ins and outs of music such as different genres of music, the anatomy of vocal chords, styles of songwriting and so much more. I am so lucky to have found Sing Out Sister as I could not have wished for a better vocal coach. Highly recommend to others who are looking to learn how to sing or to develop their current skills. 11/10
