I visited the centre today. The staff are brilliant, I met with two members who have helped me beyond my expectations pre appointment and in them. I’m glad to have found out about BID via my Audiologist. I’m so happy to know that a person like myself with Hyperacusis and Tinnitus and without hearing loss is able to be included in the services here as it is extremely difficult to fit into boxes and be able to tick against standard boxes when faced with Hyperacusis in particular. I’m very appreciative of the support so far and look forward to meeting with other teams in the near future.I’ve attached a few images of the areas I passed through today. It’s quiet and peaceful. Anyone with Hyperacusis will appreciate not walking in to a place with no music on or dealing multiple sounds simultaneously including conversations going on nearby.
