Great service, open continually throughout lockdown supplying fresh produce. Covid measures in place restricting number of customers allowed in the store and at the checkout.

If you are an Indian, you would like this place. We buy meat and chicken from them. Very good quality and fresh non veg items are available. It is Halal, so no fear of getting flesh of stunned animal. This is basically a Bangladeshi shop. We buy some snacks and readymade spices (Nihari masala etc.).

Been using them since beginning of lockdown friendly service all around, easy to use online shop with a great choice, good fresh food all around, lasts well.I will continue to use them in the future.Good to support local firms.

POOR SHELF LIFE - I used Plumbs a number of times over the years but this year in the spring and summer I was continually being delivered milk that would only last 2-3 days before going sour. Finally, in August I was delivered milk that had gone off by the NEXT DAY!! I emailed a complaint, pointing out that I had experienced the same problem on other occasions and all I received was an email to all customers saying they had had a problem with their supplier...I was not responded to about the other times the milk had soured and there was no refund of the milk that had gone off in 24 hours.I decided to stop my deliveries for a while, partly because I was about to go on holiday but also to wait until cooler weather in case that was the problem...but when I went to restart it they had deleted my account!! I can only assume it was because I had complained.I have now found another milk delivery service and I am pleased to say that their milk is delivered in a much fresher condition.It is a real shame, because I wanted so much to support a small local business but the poor milk quality and complete lack of customer service with Plumbs Dairy means I will never use them again and I recommend anyone considering using them to find an alternative!

I’ve used the shop on numerous occasions and always had a good experience but went there today and bought my produce. I then asked for a receipt but the young lad couldn’t help so he called a lady supervisor to assist. She couldn’t help and was rude when I said I need the receipt for work. Her attitude was not what I’ve experienced before. Because of the way she was speaking to me I asked for my money back she proceeded to give me back cash and even then gave me too much back!With a new shop just opened over the road you’d think customer service would be a priority. Very disappointing, I won’t be using again
