I got everything I needed from the store, then enjoyed a lovely lunch in the cafe

Lovely new store , great products ,well stocked and very friendly.Amazing DUPES on makeup, perfume ,todays purchase was a copy of a very expensive perfume costing £265 - £6.99 in Aldi exactly the same ,lasts all day so happy xx

I felt unwell whilst in store today. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and came over dizzy and felt faint. The staff were excellent, the lady serving us immediately got me some water and a chair and then asked the first aiders to come and see me. The first aid ladies were so lovely and caring. Such nice staff members. Thank you for you help.

Pity they never have enough staff on the tills,and you can't get a delivery unless you go online

Wortley Post Office and General Stores is run by a really nice couple and has a good range of products available apart from the Post Office side of the business.Bottle of wine or a beer for the evening? A nice bit of cake? A magazine or postcard... This place could save you a supermarket run if you're in the area. They even do firewood and kindling.Bike hire or repairs? This is the place!!We popped in a couple of times while staying in the area for a few days. The first time for local postcards to send to our grandchildren in the States and the second for some supplies & goodies. We ended up having quite a chat.Did I say they also run the B&B next door? Well, they do!! Well worth calling in. They have far more than you'd expect and we all need to support our village shops, don't we??

Great little shop with the cheapest beer for miles around
