Stayed on a business trip but would definitely visit again for either work or pleasure. Fantastic rooms with high ceilings and lots of space. The bar is super cool and the team are very professional and friendly

A brand new book was taken from my room by house keeping. When I told the front desk during checkout, the staff member did not at all care- he just wanted to focus on my taxi booking. I asked him to tell the manager, which I suspect he didn't. The indifference of your staff stealing from guests is what I am most angry about. What is a book today, will be jewellery or money tomorrow- your staff are stealing from guests and not held to account, plain and simple. You should all be disappointed at your lack of customer care and customer service.

The room was extremely hot and stuffy with no air flow and no fan available. Our room was on the main road and was extremely loud and noisy. The bathroom had an open style shower which made the entire bathroom and bathroom floor wet and steamy even after a short shower. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re wanting a peaceful nights rest.Breakfast was ok but tables and restaurant were not well cleaned. There are much better options like Residence Inn with A/C and larger, more comfortable rooms.

Beautiful hotel. Beds are so comfortable. We have room 134 which you came out of double doors into an alleyway to go through another set of double doors to get to your room, which was not for me . Four adults booked in and only 2 cups plus 2 seats at a table. Would of been nice to add these after seeing the booking. Tea and coffee facilities where not great tea all scented. Scottish blend or tetley would be better. Nescafe coffee would be nice. Would I return to this hotel, definitely it is beautiful

Fantastic hotel and decor is amazing and staff are all friendly and welcoming and give excellent customer service. Rooms are clean and tidy and well presented and beds are Nice and comfy. The Chop Grill and Bar is highly recommended as staff are all fantastic and food is amazing and prices are very competitive. You won't be disappointed with your stay.

Brilliant location. Lovely building and nice interior. Has the feel of quite a fancy hotel that's been let go a bit in places. I understand it was previously a university building. It was like a maze trying to find our room! It had an eerie feel, like we might be the only ones staying there, but we all got a great sleep as it was silent! We are a couple with a young child and usually stay in Premier Inns but this was about the same price as we'd usually pay and looked much nicer and better located than the Aberdeen Premier Inn. And nice to have two double beds and more space than a Premier Inn family room. We would return as it was great overall. We especially loved the toiletries and the dairy-free biscuit option (probably unintentional).

After many years away from the city, i returned to stay here for a short & sweet visit. I was impressed with this hotel for its standard in the city centre of Aberdeen & enjoyed the stay for the most part.Good service especially from reception, nicely decorated & comfortable hotel with nice restaurant. Was warm & felt safe there too the whole time too.Minor issues with the room:- Creaky floorboards- TV randomly turns on, which is quite bright in the middle of the night.- Rooms not adequately lit, especially for evening/nightDidn’t like the hidden/unclear extra charges for room service & sauna use. Had paid the premium for the above & access to the “fitness room” which far from adequate, but better than nothing; it had 2 treadmills, an exercise bike, a crosstrainer & several dumbbells.Ultimately, would recommend if staying in Aberdeen city centre, but think it maybe too costly for what its worth. I’m likely to opt for 3-star hotel next time i visit, for better value.

The most amazing bed, slept incredibly well. And the lighting options are fantastic. First hotel I've ever stayed in with a microwave! Amazing to be able to heat up a wee supper rather than go out. Thank you

Great central location at the Sanderman Hotel Aberdeen. Room well set out with lots of candle which created a great atmosphere.Really good mix of Pink Floyd classics - comfortably numb and shine on you crazy diamond were particularly good.Really recommend going if you get the chance. It’s good that phones are not allowed during the performance until the very end.

We were in Aberdeen to visit my daughter at the University. The hotel is within walking distance of the University but it is about a mile. Parking was not an issue for us as we did not have a car. The rules were very clean, and I did find the wall mounted soap dispenser to be difficult to use at first. Later on I got used to it and it wasn't a big deal. I enjoyed the modern decor as well. The breakfast was good, but there could be more attention paid to cleaning the tables after guests leave. The dinner at The Chop Bar and Grill was delicious. They are not kidding when they say reservations are recommended. The location was excellent. Easy walking access to the harbor, the University of Aberdeen, the Maritime Museum, and smaller, cheaper restaurants on Charlotte and George streets heading roughly north from the hotel toward the University. Would definitely return if I am ever in Aberdeen again.
