Firswood Dental Practice

My whole family and I have been with this Dental practice for a while now and i must say, the staff are very welcoming and with that being said, the environment is clean and sanitised. The whole experience after that makes you feel at ease from the get go. I have recommended this practice to my friends and family. Keep up the good work.

I raised a complaint with GMCA, upheld by NHS England and the practice was recommended by NHS England to review their practices and retrain staff in regard to the treatment of patients. Treatment from Firswood Dental Practice resulted in my having to attend A&E and a 17 hours in hospital on a drip. I received poor care and no advice as to how to manage my situation from the practice and without the intervention of A&E, could have had a more serious and long term deleterious affect on my health.

No one really enjoys going to the dentist; it's not something you actively look forward to. Which is what makes this practice so great. Organised, friendly staff and great service combine to make it something you almost want to do instead of just needing to every six months. I received root canal treatment here a few months ago and the whole process was as swift as it can be, and I'm very pleased with the results.If you had to come up with one thing that makes a dentist stand out, it would be inspiring people to look after their teeth better. Which is exactly what Firswood does for me, and I'm sure it does for everyone else who visits. Prevention is better than cure, but cure is just as good!

Went for a hygiene and a check up and all the staff were very kind and friendly, everything was very professional100% recommend for all dental treatments.

Really poor service, they don’t seem to like nhs patients and refused to accept my 3 year old, they even lied and said they weren’t taking nhs patients- nhs choices website indicates they do. I first asked about registering my child in July and they told me they weren’t taking patients until August. When I called in August they said they weren’t taking patients until September - absolute joke!

All staff are lovely and what seem to be very helpful, all treatment done is professional. Been here since I was a little girl but as soon as I turned 16 and started working and had to pay full price for treatment this is where it has gone down.I do not mind paying full for my treatment but since the age of 16 Firswood Dental have been taking advantage of me not knowing much. They've let me book appointments and pay upfront, once I've then had the treatment needed they will call me to say you have walked away without paying for treatment" to which I have to then persist that I have paid upfront

The staff are really friendly and welcoming.Miss Hyare really takes great attention to detail and makes sure you leave happy. I can’t recommend enough!

I am a long term patient at the practice and despite moves of house I consider them as my local dentist.All the staff are friendly, easy to talk to if you have any concerns and act in a totally professional manner , yet keeping the feeling of treating you as an individual.I usually leave and feel the same way as I would after visiting family members that I have not seen for 6 months.I have and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Had an appointment with a new filling being needed and a very deep clean..I was treated Amazingly and felt at ease .Good experience and the work carried out was Perfect.
