Picture framing shop

I would like to thank Richard and his team for cleaning, restoring and framing four watercolours. They were brought at auction dirty, and looking very sorry but underneath you could see their beauty. Richard has cleaned and framed all four and they are stunning. Attached are before and after pictures of just one. I am really pleased at how they have turned out and well worth the time and cost. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and has spurned on my interest to find more treasures. Thank you and I look forward to seeing the next transformation.

Was overcharged (£15) for German passport photos which are identical to U.K. passports photos (£10). When I asked the gentlemen to explain why it costs more and if it’s any different he couldn’t give an answer. I told him I don’t think that’s an honest way of doing business and left. Definitely won’t be going back.Reading the reviews below it seems there is systematic issue with arbitrary pricing and trying to squeeze as much as possible out of customers. Sad state.

Fantastic.Managed to spill tea into some expensive artwork.Luckily, just the inner frames and Mount got ruined, but it’s was one of three piece’s and needed to be replaced like-for-like.Emailed several framers and Otter Pool Studio really stood out with a detailed response, I could tell they were professional, and the service I received, really confirmed this.Easy to book website was smooth too.10/10 job, Jon sorted it out for me, now you’d never know I threw tea all in it! Highly recommend.

Chris of Whistler studios is one of the finest restorers we have found, a good artistic eye for colour tone and style allows him to breathe new life onto old work, cleaning, repairing restoring and rejuvenating paintings (especially oils). We have worked with him on our art collection for more than a decade and couldn't praise him or his work more highly.Alongside excellent restoration, he also frames in many styles, as well as restretching and repairing old frames. His gesso gilding is superb.

Fantastic photographer! I went in to get a Canadian Passport photo done and was VERY impressed! I had shopped around and having a bad impression of Snappy Snaps, headed here. It was cheaper (only £17.50 as opposed to £19.99 at Snappy Snaps), and he was very familiar with all of the passport photo requirements without me having to show him the specifications. While he printed the photo (within which he did his best to make me look ravishing despite not being allowed to smile), I browsed around and saw an awesome mat and frame for my degree. I will definitely be coming back for that! Thanks so much!

Some stunning ornaments varied in style and subjects. Nice friendly staff etc etc. THE PRICES ARE HORRIFIC!!! The Leonardo stag I bought here was beautiful . It was extremely disappointing when I found the exact same piece(and a few other figurines I'd liked that I had seen instore)online much cheaper a few weeks later........
