Orthopaedic surgeon

7 weeks ago Mr Gardiner gave me a new lease of life for which I will be forever grateful. Left whole hip replaced, after 10 years, pain free. A fine surgeon. Hand on heart I would never hesitate to suggest his services.

Decided to go private as condition I have is quite debilitating and nhs wait times are long. after my initial consultation and ct scan I was told I would have to wait over a month before my next appointment to go over the results of the scan. That is frankly a pathetically long and embarrassing wait time for a private service and I feel personally mislead to think that I would be seen in a quicker fashion. Poor service.

I found Mr Sheeraz inspired great confidence and I was very happy when he took on my case at short notice.My hip replacement was incredible and pain free immediately (apart from the wound obviously)Even the wound was amazingly small and healed quickly and with no trouble.Mr Sheeraz gave me first class treatment from beginning to end along with his registrar, theatre team and the nurses on the ward.Nothing but gratitude and praise for this first class surgeonMartyn Hopkins

Mr Asif Alrawi treated me at James Cook Hospital in September 2023. A nicer man could not be found. I left the Hospital a few hours after my C5 & C6 neck surgery because I felt absolutely great apart from the wound from Surgery. I cannot recommend him enough. I was dropping things constantly because of damage to the discs in my neck. The pain as anyone will know was debilitating. It is now the end of October and I saw Mr Alrawi today. Everything is as expected, and I can't thank him enough for my care as well as the Staff at James Cook Hospital. Can't recommend Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital enough.I was referred for an ultrasound scan and I was very impressed by the service provided.The appointment was perfectly on time and the staff was super helpful. Both nurse and doctor made me feel very comfortable and the doctor explained to me everything he was doing while performing the visit.Great work!

Prof Miller is very personable with a great bedside manner and this helped so much in explaining my condition, the proposed treatment and recovery program. When I suffered an unrelated post-op set-back she took time to call me personally - not something that consultants readily do. I never had the feeling of being rushed in consultations with her.Under Prof Miller's expert guidance the surgery seems to have been successful and my recovery is on track. I would not hesitate to recommend Prof Miller.

Seven weeks today l had a complete hip replacement, By Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr Magra, Who has made my life pain free, From my Consultation He explained everything in a pleasant and calm manner which puts you at ease, l could not thank Mr Magra and his team enough for their care and professionalism.

I am very pleased with the care and attention I was given. Mr Willis-Owen was very thorough and clear in his explanation of the procedure and subsequent recovery. My knee is recovering well and I am looking forward to life gradually getting back to normality. Many thanks.I needed a second knee replacement and had no hesitation I contacting Mr Willis-Owen. He performed the operation 9 weeks ago and I am delighted with the result. Not only is he a very skilled surgeon but also extremely caring and a very nice person.
