All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was spotless. Bed super comfy. Breakfast very good with lots of choices. I'd definitely go back.

Super location and such friendly team. Room felt slightly overpriced for the size. Parking is limited it would help if bays were more defined to ensure people park efficiently to make space. The upgrade emails before we arrived (several) kind of put a downer on things because decoding not to take them up on it it felt like we always could've had more when we had made our decision and been happy with the spend and choice when we booked. Hope that makes sense!

The hotel to stay in Salisbury. Extremely homely personal service with a boutique feel. Stay in the room Nelson stayed in (room 213). Enjoy the hospitality of Darren, Sam and the v sweet reception staff.Don't go without having a proper masala omelette for breakfast prepares by the chef.

Booked this hotel at 24hrs notice for a quick city break in Salisbury over the Bank Holiday weekend . Excellent location 10 mins walk from the cathedral. Our room was spotless and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and would definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Darren and Elouise who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Been very happy at The Merchant's House. Very comfortable, large and modern bedroom on the third floor with great WiFi for VC meetings and air conditioning. Great location right in town just a small block from the bus stop to Stonehenge and the shops. Nice wander to the cathedral. Would definitely stay again.

Room was lovely and were pleasantly surprised when they decorated our room for our honeymoon. Staff was friendly enough but we had a long travel day from Skye and didn’t arrive until almost midnight to check in, at which point there was no parking available in the small parking lot around the back and all street parking was taken up by night club guest. We had to pull up to the side of the road full of drunk partygoers where we had to rush to get everything out we quickly as possible because citizens patrol came and immediately yelled at us for blocking a small 2inch part of the sidewalk and that they called the police on us. We had only been there for 30 seconds. I rushed everything inside the hotel past people puking and crying while my husband drove around looking for parking. Once inside everything was nice enough and the close proximity to Stonehenge was nice. All in all a good stay, just recommend getting there early enough to find parking.

Lovely small hotel with excellent service! The breakfast selection was fabulous and the chef even came out to ask guests how the food was. All staff were very friendly and so welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure everyone was good. The room was good, quite small but served the purpose as we were exploring the town. The air con was a tiny bit noisy but not a problem.Really handy location too - don't be put off by the proximity to clubs and bars as we didn't hear anything from our room.Overall very good value and lovely people.

Great hotel at a good price in a prime location.Free drink at the bar for staying at the hotel was nice and staff are friendly.Parking was a bit difficult with only 8 spaces but if you just drive 1 minute down the same road you end up at a massive car park that lets you leave overnight until 10am for free.
