Box Tree Farm Glamping

Had a fabulous weekend with friends at box tree farm. The pods were spotless and really well equipped. The field is great for peace and for the kids to play. Really clean toilets. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Just spent 3 nights at Box Tree Farm and can't recommend it highly enough! The pods are great and the kids had hours of fun on the park and football goals in front of the pods. Then as the darkness drew in we sat around a fire and toasted marshmallows, whilst looking at the stars! Lots to do near by as well, the Ingleton Waterfalls were great. The owner and his family were so welcoming and Ian brought out the ponies for the kids to stroke which they are still talking about now! It is so nice to get the kids away from their tablets and back to basics. We will definatley be back!

Wonderful, wonderful place. A large group of us go and book every pod (11 families) and have the best weekend. The grass area where the kids play can been seen from each pod, its so lovely and safe. The kids love being here. There is a little path down to a sweet shop on site. The pods are clean and contain everything you could need and you can hire a box of plates etc so you don't have to take those. It is so nice to spend time relaxing, with no kids on devises and playing out until its dark. Ian got the ponies out so the kids could groom them. Couldn't praise this place enough, we all LOVE it. We had an amazing 3 night stay here recently with our 2 children. The owner Ian made us feel very welcome and the facilities and cabin were lovely too. We couldn't get the children away from the play area and it was so nice to see all the other children and families playing together on an evening, made it feel that bit more special. Thank you

omg what can I say but amazing. the pods are spotless and spacious and cosy. the grounds are pretty and well kept. the play area is fun. the Shetland ponies Bentley and Crystal were great characters and my kids( and I) loved grooming them. toilets and showers immaculate and warm. shop reasonable ( you can get a fire basket kit with logs kindling matches and firelighters £12) ice cream is beaut. and the owner Ian is friendly and informative of what to do and where to go and local tips. Peter was a real sweetheart who stayed late in the shop for us to buy logs. neighbours in other pods were brill too. will be back next year I hope as we all adored box tree farm. thank you x

We have just come home from a 4 night stay at box tree and loved every minute. Ian and his family make you feel so welcome. The pods are great and have everything you need like a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. We found it so relaxing even with 2 children as the onsite park was fantastic as you could sit on your bench with a drink and watch the kids play! The kids enjoyed going to the on-site shop to get sweets and chocolate. They even got the 2 Shetland ponies out for the children to groom and feed which was such a extra special touch from Ian and his family. Our 2 girls loved it so much they didn’t want to leave the site. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay at Box Tree Farm over the weekend. It’s location is great, the site is lovely & clean & Ian was an amazing host, taking great care of us & even letting the kids visit the Shetland Ponies. Can’t wait to come back & try one of the new lodges.

I stayed at Box Tree farmhouse, right next to the glamping area. There was myself and 9 of my friends. We recently stopped there to take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The house was perfect for us, accommodated all 10 of us really well and it was a terrific base to get to after a hard days trek over the Yorkshire Dales! Ian was superb as a host and everything was ready and sorted promptly. Highly recommend this place for the beautiful views and the idyllic area!
