Cheshire West & Chester

Shockingly bad service. Cancel appointments on the day and never phone back to arrange another one. This has happened multiple times. No thought put in at all as a member of the team once phoned my mum who has dementia and regurgitated all the information to her who is evidently unable to understand or pass it on. 5 different appointments have been either cancelled or just not kept with nobody phoning to inform the family. We’ve been assigned a care worker for about a month who anyone is yet to meet or hear of as she is apparently always on leave. I’ve tried phoning over 20 times (including the emergency number) with no answer at all. Terrible service. Find somewhere else

Cannot contact with them. İf you asking them for information they dont give you a corret information. İ was asked for appeal of my PCN, they said we have cancelled your penalty charge. But now it is double price. İ am not suprisd Chester council is this!!

Absolute waste of time full of brain dead empty vessels. These just ignore what they don't want to see and ignore you. After you've been through the painful motions online again and again and again to report same problem you still get ignored then it asks you for a star rating, it won't let you pick 1 star, only let's you skip this step, absolute frauds. Can't stand this council, I've not needed much off them but when you really need them to step in you can count on these to let you down. Not a fan of being ignored. Not a fan of these lot.

Very poor. Chester was once a Beautiful thriving city. Now it's dead. Yes it looks nice to drive through but to actually visit it's disgusting. Shops constantly closing. Homeless people all over town usually off their heads on something, rubbish and fag butts/vapes everywhere. Recycling sometimes doesn't get taken when it due to, same with bin bags which is now rotated every week when the streets people live in are known for rats and some streets in Chester aren't provided with actual bins so people need to just leave their bin bags on floor for 2 weeks. No shaming these guys though they absolutely thrive of delivering bad service and results. Look at the Market they spewed 72M into, even that's dead now unless someone's eating. In need of a massive revamp from top to bottom this council is. As said though there is no shaming these workers who are supposed to supply a service that the people pay for. They are more bothered about what they get paid and having an easy life for that pay. These incompetent fools have destroyed the city over the past 10 years and now they leave people to wait a month for recycling etc then threaten to bill you when you don't recycle

Why work for a city council when you couldn’t care less about the service you provide to the people in the city? Nothing that is being paid for is being provided and the customer service / communication with the staff is terrible. It’s not even a question of whether or not they can help because it is so obvious that they *don’t want to*.

I have been lying in my back for 3 days after a back injury, unable to feed or look after myself. My last meal was rice the day before yesterday. If this council were not here pretending to help people, someone probably would have come along to help me by now. I have spoken to the NHS, the doctor and the jobcentre, all of whom pointed me to these people who just ignore you, satisfied in the thought that they themselves are going home to dinner.

The roads are falling apart with potholes. Everybody is poorer.What does the council spend your money on?Talking bins

The worst of the worst can’t speak to anyone competent it’s disgusting

The council always have been and always will be absolutely useless. People who work there not only don’t care about other human beings at all but they don’t have a clue what they’re doing and don’t even know basic laws and regulations. they’re unprofessional, nasty, rude, unhelpful people and I will never have any trust for them again after what I’ve been put through because of their negligence
