Alex did an amazing job refurbishing our previously threadbare and broken sofa. It's great to meet someone who is clearly passionate and skilled at what they do. I would thoroughly recommend his services to anyone.

I chose Clare from Yell because she was one of the only Interior Designers that had a logo made and displayed.I was not disappointed. Clare took on two large projects simultaneously. She designed and managed the refurbishment of both of my veterinary premises in Derby and Allestree.Clare is extremely dedicated, hard working and repeatedly goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure excellent results. this shop is a gem not only is the stuff high quality there's a lot of eclectic furniture made by the guy who runs it very polite staff and helpful give it a shot

I have just had my three piece suite, two pouffes and two foot stools, which is 60 years old, repaired and reupholstered.I am very pleased with the exceptionally good job they made of it.It looks like a brand new suite.They hold a large selection of materials and colours to view.They are very friendly and experienced team.I cannot recommend them strongly enough,Well done Cliff and Nick.

Christine and Keith were great to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. They made me two custom orders of seat cushions, which I am extremely pleased with. Christine also had the idea of a cat blanket in the same material for the window seat, what an absolutely brilliant idea that was, thank you so much!! I would totally recommend.

Discussed requirements over the phone and found him to be okay but he seemed a bit too familiar with me and he over explained everything, he moaned about previous customer habits like complaining he hasn’t done the job right or the colour didn’t match etc. After eventually pricing, I sent sofa measurements in a photo with sofa and asked when I need to bring a cushion for a colour match, his response was -“I'm home most of the day today and tomorrow up until 4 or so when the dog needs walking She won't use garden, as she was rescued from the streets that's where she insists toileting ;-)Just phone me a little before hand to make sure I'm not eating or have anyone else hereI don't make appointments as such as I'm still waiting for someone to come Saturday, 9.30 last week ;-)”I said it will probably be the following day due to work commitments and could I have postcode please, he responded with-I'll give you the actual address as you phone to say you're about to set offI do that so it ensures ppl don't forget to bring first, I've had ppl just knock the door when I'm eating Sunday lunch ;-) most people wouldn't but it's happened and I'd spent 3-4 hours cooking, I wasn't going to let it go to waste lolI'm near rycroft in Walsall so you've got an idea of distanceMessaging is fine if you don't need immediate response but when you're coming please ring, them we know 100% the call has got through and answeredTomorrow's fineRegardsKarlHe then sent a photo of his dog with a quote saying This is our little bundle of from fun I can see yours nose lol.I responded with “May I have the postcode now please Karl, I will be driving so I won’t be able to take details over the phone, I’ll phone before I arrive to let you know I’m en route, as discussed, alternatively we can arrange a time.”He said “**(postcode)** that's why I said as you're about to set off as if you're already on the way there can sometimes be unforseen obstacles :-)”At this point I just felt uncomfortable and decided not to move forwards.

Very helpful and welcoming

Great choice of retro furniture and nostalgic household accessories at a fraction of prices seen in other retro shops.Took me a while to get as only open Saturdays but if you give them a ring they will make arrangements for other times.Looks small shop from outside but actually big and well worth a visit
