Had a really old (not much used) classical guitar that I thought was of no use to anyone, being as it was bought for my son originally and my grandson now wanted to learn. Needing expert opinion to see if the guitar would be of use for initial lessons, I looked on Google to see of anywhere local and I couldn't have been more impressed as soon as I walked through the door. Two lovely lads in there, so friendly, so helpful, so positive and knowledgeable, I can't thank them enough for turning a negative into a positive. A restring and tuning and all done within an hour. The offer to call in with any questions, or issues and even play a tune or try anything anytime, was given so genuinely.Can more than highly recommended to anyone.Thanks.

My son got his first guitar and the staff were excellent. Helped him choose his guitar and got him everything that he needed to get started. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful would really recommend for anybody starting or experienced guitarist's

He had been removing the labels from the guitars to strum across the 6 strings, once, to hear the tone of the instrument. He then asked if it was OK to continue to touch the guitars and the male sat at the counter (not the one that had been in the repair/restring room) said you must ask before touching each guitar. He then went on to comment to another couple that guitars could be damaged by being bashed together and he didn't want dents or scratches.When WE entered the store we were the only customers in for quite a while, this in my opinion is not busy and makes me wonder if your staff are recalling the correct customers. My Husband was the one shopping NOT me and was unaffected by your repeated allegations that I was in a male dominated environment. NOBODY asked him not to touch the instruments, HE asked for permission to strum them whilst on the hangers he did not remove or attempt to remove any guitars from their holders. Despite being an accomplished musician and buying multiple high end guitars from you in the past (Gibson Les Pauls, PRS Customs to name a few) we did not have a great experience on Friday. I in no way wished to publicly discuss your staff customer service, we had a disappointing visit and thought you may like to know. Recollection of events may vary, especially if your staff think it was busy when we entered an empty store.

Brilliant, a real proper music shop. In the age of internet shopping us musicians should be helping to support places like this.Visited today and traded my old guitar in got an excellent quality cordoba ukulele. The guys were really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and I look forward to visiting again soon. Thanks guys.

I had a problem with my bass guitar. It took them 5 minutes to figure it out then another 5 to fix it with no charge.Always happy to use these people.

I took an old Yamaha from the 1970's which was in pretty poor shape to this place. The guitar techs set it up, replaced the bridge and restrung it, it sounds very good now. Thanks guys! Very reasonable price too.

It is so good to visit this shop and see it doing so well. Sadly, so many music shops have closed or are struggling to survive. I have dreamt of this kind of place. A very wide range of good quality instruments, all supported by a well informed, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Well done, lads, it was a pleasure shopping with you! I love the spalted mango ukulele I came away with. For the record, there was no heavy handed or pushy salesmanship just helpful and enthusiastic staff giving useful information. I'm happy to recount my experience and recommend it accordingly.
