They dont take cards after 8pm they advise u to withdraw cash from cash point next door which costs you 65 pence?, ordered small fish was the smallest have ever bought from any fish and chips shop, wont be goin there again overpriced

Have been ordering from here for years and never had a problem so thought when I'd call with my issue they'd listen and try to understand but nope! Ordered a chicken breast....instead I got half a deep fried chicken. I hate chicken on the bone or with skin on which is why I ordered a chicken breast. When I spoke the manager - his response was well that's what we've been selling for years" - well I have never ordered this before. His response was "so you wanted a chicken fillet?" - no I wanted a chicken breast...like when you have a chicken breast from ANYWHERE I have EVER ordered chicken breast with a meal...it's come as the chicken breast meat ONLY! No bones....no skin....no wings....JUST the chicken breast - UNLESS it's stated chicken breast with skin on which I've seen once elsewhere and never ordered. And I'm pretty certain chicken fillets are smaller cut strips than chicken breast. I might bring a picky person in some people's eyes but I highly doubt I'm the first or only person that would expect what I did. And on top of it

Always amazing. Please add the hot sauces to your menu so I can order complete order online. Otherwise I'm ordering some items via app and then ask for sauce and pay cash which I rarely have as your minimum card payment is £6 or £10

Very disappointed. Food was over a hour late. I rang to check where my food was and was told they were still waiting for a driver. I asked them to clarify my food wasn’t sat waiting, which they confirmed, however this was a lie as when the food did arrive it was cold and inedible. The large kebab was also far from a large. I rang to complain and was promised to be “sorted out” next time. However rang today to reorder and was only offered 25%.. this would have been around £3.50. Not sufficient after spending £25 on food, in a cost of living crisis. After being a long standing customer I won’t be returning. Very disappointed at this service!

Ordered 4 small fish and chips for my kids… costing nearly £30! Fish was lukewarm and the chips tasted as if they had been reheated from yesterday.. hard and tasteless!! So disappointing.. 2 were hardly touched and the other 2 were half eaten!! Really not acceptable tbh…been a customer for a few years and I need to find a new chippy now I think as this isn’t the first time they have been minging!Lovely lady dropped them with a free bottle of Pepsi max so feel bad having to write such a negative review but I don’t think anything was fresh!!!

Today while working in the area I visited this chip shop and for £4.50 I received a regular chips and a large battered sausage.The chips because of the cardboard box just tasted like cardboard and I don't know what they had done with the batter on the sausage but it was like chewing cardboard to try and bite the sausage in half. Even cutting it with the wooden folk was a challenge. As for flavour it was very bland and I'm glad I had some more salt in the van as I couldn't taste the salt and vinegar that they put on in the shop.I wouldn't visit again for chips if I was in the area.
