Tesco Superstore

It's not a huge supermarket but has all the main stuff you'd expect. There's also a small selection of household items and a post office . The lady at the checkout was friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space in the carpark which is free for the first Hour and a half.

Beach needs, change converter and carpet clear hire.. post office and loads of parking. Charging points and a coffee machine. Just a few things to that make it an ideal stop. .

It's no better than the run-down Coop used to be, and there is an obvious disconnect between what they stock and what customers want to buy.For example, the soft drinks aisle is FULL of large 3-liter bottles and NO smaller options to choose from. There is an abundance of the same items taking up shelf space that could be given up to offer more variety for the shoppers.Only BIG HP sauce bottles and nothing for people who don't drink it by the gallon!There's no suggestions box (I have asked) or any way of making suggestions, and the managers aren't interested in your opinion.This will be worse than the old Coop in a year or so unless the managers get it sorted out.And don't get me started on the HORRIBLE and intrusive music. Rap music? Seriously? In Freshwater, Isle of Wight? LOL! If the staff love this loud MTV style music give them all headphones and leave the customers alone. It's like shopping in a disco.UPDATE: (August 2022) The car park is now owned and operated by a mainland company, and they now have strict rules about how long you can go shopping for.When it was a Coop, if you asked at the service counter you could park there all day and go off for a walk... not anymore. This terrible company is determined to make things as miserable as possible for our quiet little town with unnecessary and idiotic signs and threats.You're better off just going the extra few miles and going to ASDA in Newport. Seriously, this Tesco's store is a mess.

Easy walks around shopping

Great supermarket, always well stocked. The man with the combover was incredibly helpful, enthusiastic and daring. He walked the entire length of the store whilst having a wonderful chat to show me where an item was. Big thanks to the man with the combover, if he could be identified I would love you to pass on my utmost admirations. Always a great experience at this store, and will be returning again many times.

Overall, the shop is good. It is my preferred shop in Freshwater, better than the old co-op. But when will we be able to get gas and electric top ups at the post office? As it stands, instead of being able to go to one shop, I also have to go to either Sainsbury's or the co-op to top up my amenities. This also affects friends of mine who prefer Tesco's over the other shops in Freshwater. Will update to 5 stars when I only have to go to one shop, so please sort this out.

The co-op was much better. The store workers are helpful and kind generally. But right now I am trying to return something. The man at help and services said he did not know how to do it but made me wait in a long line. When I got to the front he told me he had to call the duty manager. The duty manager did not show up for a long time and then gave me a hard time about returning some unopened bagged vegs that were not good and still in date (we tried one the day before, returning the very next morning after purchase). I had my full receipt . Scowled at me as if I was doing something wrong. I tried to be polite and apologetic.August 15 morning. I went home and ordered next groceries from Morrisons.

Rachel...... Rachel is the reason I despise buying anything from here.She is a rude, demanding, self-righteous, horrible person.I suggest if she's working avoid her at all costs especially when buying anything that requires ID even when you are obviously of age, she will still ID.ID'd to buy monster... Seriously. Grow up rachel get off your high horse.And with your daft mask.... that's sooooo 2 years ago, get with the times!!!
