Medivet Prescot

Awful experience from the reception/locum staff - billed my insurance company for nearly double what they should have, took no responsibility when corrected, and where completely unhelpful about assisting in an emergency appointment.

Both vets are leaving the Prescot branch so the appointment I needed was nearly two weeks away! This is not acceptable if your dog is unwell. I had to call the next day for an emergency appointment (which costs more!). Luckily, I was able to secure an appointment and when I arrived I was informed by the lovely office staff that both vets were leaving the next day. A locum vet has been secured for a week or two and then after that they don’t know what is happening. As a client, this is extremely concerning to me as my pet needs to be seen again in two weeks following treatment for a UTI but now I’m worried there may not be a vet there for it. This needs to be addressed URGENTLY before I'm forced to move my pets away from your firm.

I was so pleased with my experience. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My dog is a fearful reactive pup, who is not good with strangers interacting with him. Julian was very kind and patient with him. She provided excellent advice and guidance. So appreciative of her support. Now he has his needles we can get the training and support he needs

Made appointment for my 1 year old dog Ruby to be spayed. From first contact to her returning home the attention was excellent. The vet Johan was very professional. He made the procedure very clear and understandable and put me at ease. The service was very personal. The dischage was similary professional and I was very clear of what needed to be done to ensure a good recovery for Ruby.

Can't disagree with the level of service however the charge whichwas never made aware to me only upon leaving was extortionate for what service my pet actually received and actually took all my benefit money to pay it leaving me broke am supposed to have a second appointment however that will be cancelled now

The lady vet who treated my cat was very efficient and sucessfully carried out a procedure in a caring manner.The consultation fee was reasonable. The cost of medication was scandalous. Nearly three times vets on line charge. This needs to be looked in to. Its very unfair to pet owners.
