Great prices most of the time however stock availability and range is very poor in several sections predominantly in the fishing section from baits to clothing and equipment every time I have visited over the last 24 months (usually once a fortnight) which has forced me to spend my money else where and noticed either the same deal or better meaning loss of sales hopefully someone will be able to organise in future for better products better prices and better stock

If you can get their attention, staff are helpful and sufficient knowledge.You have to hunt for bargains. Don't expect what is on the website to be in the shop, there will be a newer more expensive version.

Absolutely worst customer service. The manager stating incorrect policy of go outdoors. Tried to take a tent back to this go outdoors, the manager refused the tent stating it was used without inspecting the tent. Go outdoors policy is for the store to inspect a tent before refusing. This wasn't done and the manager just walked away. One star is too many stars for this branch

I used Go Out Doors online for the first time today to order something on Click & Collect, I also became a member for the charge of £5.00 and instantly I saved £20.00.I found it really easy and my order was ready in an hour from the Shop in Taunton. I went to pick the item up and the lady was very helpful and polite.I will be shopping there again. Very happy customer.Thank you.

Just on the edge of Taunton City this GO Outdoors is basically just your average outdoor shop. Granted, they probably have every outdoor product you could possibly think of, but this place is busy, overpacked and full of not very helpful staff if I'm honest.It is actually quite a large store with an upstairs section packed to the brim with more products.On a couple of occasions I tripped over some loose items that were sat around on show. Not great, especially if you are a wheelchair user.On a lighter note though they are a dog friendly and dog treats are available at the door which I thought was quite a nice touch.

easy to park. Uncrowded. Didn't have the item I wanted in stock though a friend found some good ski pants

Staff all helpful on a return item being a bbq due the handle had melted....Nice section of stuff...Always worth buying the membership card, tho only lasts a year....

I like going here on occasions to see what deals are on. Also you can drop parcels off here.Climbing stuff doesn't seem to be about? Or moved I didn't see it. Probably to much camping and tent stuff in stock and on display, had to move things about.I looked at bike gear today. Some ok stuff. PThings are good when in stock not always on the shelf is the down side of here. Shoes in boxes but sometimes limited sizes which is a down side.Other bonus is being a member and paying a better price than retail. Sometimes your surprised at the till as it's a bit cheaper than you expected.

Good for sheer range of products and helpful assistants. However, I wanted a pair of Merrell shoes, which are made in half sizes. Unfortunately, Go Outdoors only stock full sizes. So, no sale.
