Cubitts Soho

I visited the shop yesterday Sunday afternoon with the intention of buying a pair of spectacles. The two gentlemen working in the shop were more interested in chatting to each other rather than selling. After 20 minutes being left alone browsing through frames I’ve asked for some help, which was clearly too much of a work for them. The only help I received were two “no” and one “yes. I felt sorry to disturb their chilled Sunday afternoon.

Have been a loyal Cubitts customer since 2018 and I’m still amazed at the quality of frames, lenses and customer service. I had a small problem with my most recent order and I was offered a timely replacement with absolutely no hassle. Cannot think of any reason to go anywhere else for my next pair of glasses when I need them!

Got my new glasses here, great product and greater customer service! They have a wide range of frames to choose from and very kind staffs. Love the zeiss lens too, overall a great place to get your glasses! Strongly recommend

Recently visited Cubitts to order some new glasses as a friend had recommended them. They have a great selection of quality frames at very reasonable prices. The team are super friendly and helpful. Every time I’ve popped in to adjust my frames or ask for help the service has been spot on!

I went window shopping the other day and I was greeted and guided by a nice and friendly American young man. At first sight I could tell it was a lovely store, with an incredible amount of options and designs. I recently found out I need glasses and I was scared I wasn’t going to find a pair that was the perfect fit. Not only did I find them but I now also know everything I need to know about the company and the manufacturers. This shop has an outstanding customer service and an extensive knowledge in their products. I would like to thank the staff for their patience and care in what they do, I’ll definitely come back!!

Was left to wait 15 minutes downstairs for my eye test as the optician was too busy on a phone call. Will stick to the more reliable opticians. Waste of time and energy, do not recommend.

shout out to Shella who was more than brilliant fixing my old pair of glasses and she has kindly offered to do it for free and actually insisted not to charge me anything for it as it was a minor repair! she was brilliant and very fast and effective and I am forever grateful x in general they had great variety of frames there as well , super friendly staff and Shella in particular was stellar , patient and happy to answer all questions! and my pair of glasses are back to normal again <3 ! highly recommended due the noticed speedy and friendly services and sturdy cool looking frames . One of the most helpful optometrists I have visited, and one of the most friendly bunch of staff at the Soho branch that I had the good fortune to help me out. They were both thorough and honest in relation to the most suitable frames and lenses. Jana was considerably patient and friendly and a great ambassador for the brand.

Can I give zero stars? Terrible online service. Ordered two pairs of frames with non-prescription sunglass lenses. Still not received a month later despite chasing, so I chased again and Almu promised to get the goods despatched that same day. Still received nothing, and over the next few weeks no replies to any of my subsequent emails asking where the glasses were. I phoned them and the lady I spoke to didn't know what had happened to the glasses (!) but at least she sorted the refund for me promptly. If Cubitts are going to be a premium brand they must have premium service. At present, it is a long way short of that.** Follow-up 8-Aug-23 - Four weeks after Cubitts responded to my original review above, I still haven't heard anything from them regarding a resolution"......"

This is the best eye test experience I've had. The optometrist, Sam, was incredibly friendly, helpful and exceptionally competent. He really went above and beyond, conducting a very thorough test. When he spotted something potentially concerning at the back of my eye, he went out of his way to track down information from previous eye tests I'd had done elsewhere. I'll certainly be getting all eye tests done here in future.
