Area is lovely and clean, relaxing atmosphere, bought fridge magnet from a local shop, however along the river mersey quayside, I was charged £5, for two cans of coke, from an ice cream vendor, shop around as near ferry £3 for same products. I did say the eurovision contest was over. Shop around guys.

It's a busy station and there is a very nice wetherspoon pub there! They are a few shops and plenty of seats . Staffs are helpful and attentive. 4 out of 5 in comparison with other major stations.

As soon as you pull into the station you can feel the energy and buzz of the city, but not beofre a photo opportunity and selfie with both Sir Ken Dodd and also the battle axe Labour MP Bessie Braddock who was famous for many things including having the lion stamp put onto eggs.2 famous people to greet you as you enter the amazing city of Liverpool.

The station not really big but very busy. Its really easy to get around and find restaurants and shopping near by. I check out early from the hotel and spend hours to go around the shopping center while awaiting my train back to London.Its very convenient.

Crowded this afternoon.Short notice changes and cancellations of train journeys due to the rail strike have contributed to the bulging crowd bursting at the seams here since morning.On my way to Glasgow, Scotland.Adjustments and alternative arrangements are being made by passengers.
