The St. George's Inn Victoria
The room was on the small size with no fridge and it was strange eating Breakfast in the basement, however the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is only a few minutes from Victoria station and not all that far from Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey\Palace of Westminster if you want to walk. I did notice that there wasn't a lift so if you had heavy luggage and were not on the ground floor it could be difficult.

I stayed one night whilst working in Victoria. My lower ground room was spacious with a modern shower bathroom. The room was clean, tidy and had everything I needed, if a little basic. Location is very good for pimlico, Victoria and if needs be, Westminster. I arrived late and night staff were pleasant. Can not complain. I have read a number of other reviews for this place regarding small room size and can honestly say this room is not small. Maybe luck of the draw?! I did not experience any of the negative comments mentioned in previous reviews. I would come here again. I did not have breakfast so I can not comment.

Nice hotel for the price, no lift, and we were on the 4th floor, so that's the only problem i had. Everything else was great

It's a gem for the location and luggage storage for travelers. Also the 10£ per hour late check out fee was convenient for a late start. Give it a try

Great pub at the back of Victoria Stn away from all the crowds but just a 5 mins walk to your platform. Good menu and good beer. The Three Steak pie was very good....

The hotel is very well located, easy walking distance to Victoria Station or to the Thames. The (small) room was clean and the bathroom was renovated and very nice. Breakfast is served in a renovated room, as well.I would like to point out a few things that are not very clear from the hotel description (here, at Google maps) that are not bad, but might help other travelers chose the proper hotel.1) The hotel picture may lead you to think that the impressive tall, white building, from the corner up to 30m into the block is the hotel. Actually, this building is 4 or 5 different hotels... The hotel itself is *one* of the annexed houses in the building. So, the hotel itself is a *small* , 4-floor, no-elevator, hotel.2) There is a front-desk. I don't know if it is 24/7, but every single time i walked by, there was someone there. However, there is *no* reception, or reception lobby. There is simply the front desk counter (actually a corridor, since the hotel occupies one of the narrow houses of the whole building). There is one toilet and one chair close to the front desk. That would be the lobby. So, no area to sit down and relax, or to wait for your family to come down form the rooms.3) The breakfast room is located in the basement and remains open only for breakfast. So, there is no bar and snacks at the hotel. But again, it is a clean, renovated room and the breakfast served is good. So, in my conclusion this is a good pick hotel for tourists, like me, that wake up early, have a decent breakfast, enjoy the city all day, and come back to rest at night, in a clean, comfortable room.

Bedding was filthy. Stains all over it. Would not expect that from a 1* let alone a 3*Room was tiny, sockets didn't work, holes in wall, wee on toilet seat, generally needed a good clean and lick of paint.Hotel staff did nothing to help. No offer of bedding change or room change.Noway could stay in a filthy bed so had to go find another hotel.Have only been refunded for one night as apparently we stayed too long before leaving.Manager is refusing a full refund

Stayed here for two nights when visiting London. It’s located super central, with a 5 minute walk to Victoria Station.Found the room to be clean, modern and comfortable, although it was super small and we got room 402 which it located at the top of the building, and for those who struggle with stairs, this won’t be enjoyable for you (no lift either). The room does get hot but thankfully the aircon works well. The room doesn’t have a fridge but does have coffee making facilities and a safe.Receptionist was very friendly throughout the stay and let us check in right away at 1pm on arrival. The breakfast was included but this was terrible. There was toasted bread left out that was cold and stale. Ended up sticking with fruit and then left to get food elsewhere. There’s no hot food (eggs etc).
