RBK Building and Groundworks

I Could not Recommend RBK Building enough, This year i decided, to project manage the re-build my garage with a bigger garage and utility room, and i Appointed RBK building to carry out All the project works up to DPC, this involved, removal of old foundation, re-leveling site , New foundation dig, installation for new drains and services, laying over site for garage plus all walls below ground, landscaping of area around new construction including the installation of ACO drains and concreting drive.From Day RBK BUILDING made this part of the the project care free, They kept me totally informed about the progress of the project, and liaised the local building control, for all parts of the work concerning him. They kept me informed about all unforeseen issues, and his ability to adapt to a changing situation is impressive, They are able to keep calm when things don't go according to plan and offer cost effective solutions to resolve problems.The project is i next to a path and all the locals have commented on what a neat and tidy site Rbk building ran, and also what a polite people they, where willing to engage with locals, and offer information about the project.Rbk building is currently quoting 3 more jobs for me.

RBK laid some blocks and paving slabs for us and we're delighted with the result. Ryan has great attention to detail , which shows in the straight lines and levels - poetry to someone like me!They produce a lovely finish at a reasonable price.Well done.

We had RBK Building and Groundworks do our driveway and front of house. As my husband has worked on ground works I was waiting for some critical comments but he was so happy with the way Ryan prepared the aera and disposed of the rubble before carrying on with the laying of the blocks. Ryan even went the last mile staying on later and even in rainy weather. We would definitely call on his services again in the future. Nothing was to much bother for him.His prices were very good. Always tidied up at the end of the day, leaving the area safe. I would recommend RBK to my friends and family

RBK Groundworks / Ryan KemberRyan was recommended to us a couple of years ago as someone who could undertake the groundworks necessary for us to build an under-stairs loo in our newly-purchased 1930’s vintage semi. He duly completed all of the required drainage installation without fuss, and even went to a reclamation yard in order to procure matching floorboards to reinstate a couple of boards broken whilst gaining access.We had no hesitation, therefore, in recommending him to ourselves (!) recently, in order to build us a block-paved front drive. In doing so, he transformed an ugly, ramshackle, combination of lumpy concrete slabs, rampant and indestructible weeds, and an inconvenient sticky-up manhole cover, into a most attractive oasis of calm. This has dramatically improved the “street-smarts” / attractiveness of our house – so much so that the neighbours now talk to us! In fact, the guy that lives across the road, and who runs his own building business, took time out to note “… I’ve been watching him work: he knows what he’s doing!...”.In addition to building the drive, Ryan also undertook the preparatory work to facilitate the re-installation of the path to the front door: we’d asked for a “Victorian-style” tiled path and, whilst acknowledging that this sort of tiling wasn’t his speciality, Ryan “knew a man who could”… and he did!The overall impact of Ryan’s work has been transformative for our property. It’s unfortunate that we have to dump an ugly car on it!We would have no hesitation in recommending Ryan for any work requiring groundworks input – whether visible (as in the drive), or invisible (as in the drainage). He has been professional and courteous throughout, keeping us informed of progress and any necessary rescheduling, and kept to his original quote (despite a bit of an initial under-estimate). Driveway completed ahead of schedule. Am delighted with the final result. Ryan is professional, hard working and considerate to neighbours. Would be happy to recommend.

Ryan has been great working on our site of 5 new builds doing all the groundworks, services, and associated works. Very knowledgeable on larger scale projects and his team have fitted in with everyone on site. Very professional, and we would highly recommend RBK.
