Gary the store manager is rude and has cost me £1000 for something that is out of my hands.If you have looked through the other 1 star reviews on here then you will take my word for what I'm about to say. I would really advise people to reconsider buying anything from this store. I saved up all my money for a year to treat my family and I to a 65 inch Samsung television. It cost me £1000 not including the £130 extra garunteed warranty which I decided to take. Turns out as I got home I discovered that is was faulty. I took it back and was refused refund and the arrogant and bullish store manager Gary dismissed me and said Imust have done the damage.Seriously I’m not getting much from saying this but I just want to warn anyone before they go in this store. I have to say the other staff there are very friendly but sadly they are managed by a total clown.

Very helpful staff who were happy to help even though we got there shortly before closing. Good technical knowledge and advice as well as taking time to explain options and available extras. The laptop I wanted wasn't in stock but they ordered it and arranged for next day home delivery.Very good service.

Staff are very helpful and there is a large variety of shop floor stock so you can pick and compare what you want to buy but currys don't keep much in warehouse stock so if you want a large item quickly then you'll be disappointed! Delivery was 5 day wait but they installed the item and took the packaging away, we didn't pay for appliance removal because we discovered that you can take any old appliance to any currys store and they will take and dispose of it, fridges and freezers included! This proves cheaper than a £20 removal fee and no hassle of booking to dispose at the dump!

I was informed that the delivery would be between 1 and 5pm at 6pm i contacted the call centre as I had had no news about when it would arrive. I was told i was no.13 in the delivery and the truck was currently at no.10 in the delivery and to expect them between 7&8 pm. At 6:15pm i was called by the delivery driver who told me my delivery was still at the depot and had never left because of a truck issue. I was informed that the next available delivery was the 22nd. When i said that's unacceptable the man said tough, laughed and hung up on me. I phoned the call centre and informed them and asked them for the floor model or an earlier delivery they said to go to the store and ask the manager as he was the only person who could authorise selling the floor model. I then went to the store and explained what had happened. The manager was standing there and didn't attempt to come and assist. The store clerk had to go back and forth between us and him to query. We asked for the floor model the manager said no so we requested a refund and went to another store and bought the same washing machine for cheaper which will be delivered sooner than Currys could and with no delivery fee. We are still waiting for our refund as they said they can only refund today. I will never purchase anything from currys again. I would rather take my £500 i spent on a washing machine and spend it where I am treated with dignity and respect

Went to buy headphones for my son but wanted him to be able to try them on first to check the fit. Was told it was against their policy! What's the point in having a physical shop if you can't try the products.

My original review started out as 5 stars, sadly have had to amend as things didn't go so smoothly once item arrived.I visited the Worthing Currys recently for a new double combi oven. I didn't have a clue what I wanted or the size I required or the different gadgets between the different brands. I spoke for a long time with Jenny and she never hassled me to buy that day, she said to have a think overnight, and come back tomorrow. In that time I also done a price comparison with other companies such as AO.When I returned the next day with a better understanding of what oven I wanted, unfortunately Jenny wasn't working but I was served by Ryan who not only matched AO's price, but beat it. We double checked the sizing online to make sure the new ovens will fit etcInstallationWhen the installer arrived, that's when we found out the oven I had bought wouldn't match the AMP in my house. 2 options, get an electrician in to sort it out or send back oven and buy a 13AMP oven. Not sure if this was something that could have been found out before installation, so a bit of hassle as I had to decide there and then which option I would do.In the end I decided to get a new oven so I had to drive all the way back to Currys Worthing to sort this out as it was bought in store. I was then charged a second delivery charge which I disputed at the time but they said that was correct, I spoke to Currys complaint dept and they said I shouldn't have paid the 2nd delivery charge so now I have to go back AGAIN to get a refund. I don't live near Worthing but it is my closest branch, this is a lot of hassle.

i bought some headphones and in the process of trying to buy them ‘alex’ it says on my receipt of purchase, i was asking questions 1 about my headphones that i bought and 2 about the new iphone 15 which i am planning on purchasing soon, he was clearly on snapchat messaging people and seemed irritated by my questions and rolled his eyes, perhaps i wont be spending £900 on a new phone from this company.

I went to Currys at Worthing today to buy a PC. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, but not what I needed. Becca was allocated to help me explore options.From the moment we started chatting she took the time and effort to understand needs, and explained pitfalls and benefits of a number of options including combination deals, peripherals and upgrade options for both desk top and lap top options.To say she was open, honest and knowledgeable on the products is an understatement.I walked away today with a fantastic tower computer and a very nice screen and everything I needed. Having got home, unpacked and installed everything as she recommended (all trouble free as well which for a novice like me is a miracle) I’m a very happy customer.It’s so nice to come across someone offering such great customer service. I hadn’t realised it but we were just over an hour. That was an hour well spent.Thank you Becca for for your time we are both pleased with what you helped us to select. And thank you for making the whole experience friendly and professional.

They advertising stock they don't have, they were unable to give clear date to when my computer would arrive. About a week later I had told them it had stopped working, they didn't seem very surprised and said that they didn't know when I would be able to get it back and said I could look around for other options. I was hopeful that it would arrive soon so I refused and waited for another 2 weeks and at that point I was desperate, so I went back in and showed them a different computer that they had advertised and they said they didn't have it but suggested a different a computer that they said was the same" but was worst than my original computer I wanted and was more expensive. I was getting desperate and didn't want to wait and any longer and accepted then after they said it would arrive in another week....This is last time I buy from Currys PC World."
