Park Central Hotel

Very nice hotel. My union paid for my accommodation, my room was very nice, and the fact that it was close to the sea was perfect. Will come back again. Very nice service including the receptionist, very welcoming.

Very spacious room with a good sea view. Delicious dinner at Crab restaurant. Love the crab, salad sauce and chips. Very helpful staff. I only think that the hotel is a little bit old.

My family stayed 3 days and 2 nights and we loved all the team of the hotel and the restaurant, everybody very helpful and attentive, the room has a perfect view to the sea, we loved to know this place. We just have to say THANK YOU for providing comfort, empathy and cleanliness to its guests. We were really satisfied with this hotel in all respects.

Over priced for the quality of the room (£300 for 2 nights). Dated sparse furniture in the room, awful low voltage lighting and no heating on in November. The bed was hard and lumpy and the bedding was thin and cheap.The car park at the back of the hotel was infested with rats! Thankfully I didn't have to go there, my husband parked the car!The bathroom was good and the room was clean. Nice view over the sea. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good, cooked to order and came quickly.Front of house staff friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely hotel. Staff all lovely and warm welcome.Rooms and beds are comfortableNot far from the beach. Bonus for us.We had a lovely weekend stay.We would definitely go back.

The hotel may have had its heyday about 20 years ago. However.. it is situated in a perfect location, right by the sea, offering a beautiful ocean view from the window. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. A pleasant surprise was the in-room coffee machine and a small fridge for chilling drinks The staff was friendly and ready to help. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."

The front desk staff member when we checked in on 04 Sept 2023 at 8:45 pm was not very competent and uncooperative with everything. When asked about dinner at Crab restaurant, she said “later” and never told us anything about Crab restaurant or that they were closing shortly. Earlier when we had arrived, when we asked about restaurants nearby generally, she said they close at 9:30 pm so we thought we had a bit of time but we were still rushing. Instead, the staff member kept arguing about what time we should have breakfast the next morning and wasted our time on trivial matters. She forgot to mention WiFi details. Once we put our luggage in the room and rushed over to Crab restaurant, they told us that the kitchen had just closed. First, as a staff member, she should have known when the restaurant was closing. When I expressed concern about restaurants closing soon, she kept us at the front desk arguing about breakfast time rather than letting us get to dinner before restaurants closed. She was uncooperative when asked to checkout an hour later. It felt like she just hated me and didn’t want to cooperative with anything and obviously was not qualified to be doing that job. Sadly, we tried two other restaurants and their kitchens were closed. She resisted booking our breakfast at 9 am for 05 Sept 2023 even though a couple of other staff members we had spoken to earlier in the day over the phone said it was fine. She said 9 am is too busy. We went in at 9 am today and the breakfast room was not busy at all and a few other families walked in with us and after us. Not sure why she made all the fuss.I would never stay in this hotel again and would not recommend to anyone. The lift button after having pressed, would reset and wouldn’t arrive after several minutes. This happened at least 3 times.

We have just returned from Park Central after a couple of nights stay. This was our 4th time staying here over the last 6 years or so. We always find the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms are always clean and spacious. This time, we stayed in a larger suite on the top floor which was really lovely and had a fantastic sea view! I've given the room 4 rather than 5 stars purely because I think the furniture and decor could do with updating, and there seems a lot of wasted space in the suite we stayed in. Absolutely spotless though. The restaurant is popular and has a nice vibe. You can't really beat the location to be honest. Will definitely stay again! Thank you

Excellent location and amazing staff. Rooms are nice if somewhat dated. Cheap parking next door - paid for parking in BIC which was secured however

Lovely hotel had a very nice stay but rooms are abit dated, with old fashioned furniture. Bathroom was nice. Service was really good & breakfast was too.Great location
