Needed a boiler service after another local company failed to show twice. Quick booking, clear communication. Chris is very knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Some points for improvement:- Showed up over an hour early with no heads up. Caught me in a meeting (which I was able to rearrange so no big deal) but a little notice would be nice- Oily drip marking the wall inside the boiler cupboard left behind- Previously used companies usually checked the carbon monoxide alarms in the house as part of the gas safety checks, this was not doneBut these are minor, overall very happy with the service, will use again.

An engineer was sent out to my property on the same day after no hot water was available. They diagnosed an air block issue and fixed it. Happy with the service would use again.

Chris has now done quite a few projects for us and always does a great job. Highly recommended.

Communication was great. Chris came and did a great job fixing the leak in the downstairs toilet and at the isolation valve. Would use again.

Have recently had a boiler service and repairs by Shaw's and can highly recommend them.We found them to be very professional and friendly,Chris did an excellent job and we were kept very well informed as to arrival times and duration of each visit by Angelo.

I'm not sure how this company gained it's 5 star reviews! I asked for a quote for a new boiler and also to connect a new gas hob. The boiler quote was ignored and they homed in on the hob, which they obviously were not interested in doing and we exchanged 10 emails, with them asking me to send photos, a video, an installation manual, and eventually said they didn't do installation told me to look at Checkatrade! Total waste of my time! After I said I was completely fed up with the whole thing and to forget it they offered to come and do a free quote! Why weren't they prepared to do it in the first place??? Never again!

Quick response to our initial enquiry and good communication including clear information re charges, potential issues and possible options. Installation went smoothly and are pleased with the end result. On the basis of this experience, I would not hesitate to recommend.

Cost of the works was great compared to other companies! Was expecting a much more expensive job but it was within budget.Installation itself was seamless, Chris did an amazing job and explained everything as he went along. Also advised about any other possible issues in the house that may need fixing, which is a bonus!Would highly recommend Chris and Angelo for all your plumbing needs, great company and great guys!A++++
