Great product not the cheapest but good quality, but they do not want to deal with small businesses. Used to be 1 pallet to 24 pallets, last year minimum 6 pallets and tail lift deliveries but this year 6 pallets plus you need a forklift. If you don't have a forklift you can have a moffett delivery @ £129.40 per pallet making it impossible to deal with the company.The Garden Shop UK Ltd

Fast loading and nice people

have purchased 20 tonne loads of high quality sand on a monthly basis for our foundry processes from bathgate for more than 30 years and have never experienced anything but exellent quality and service

From greenkeeper Royle bowling club, Rochdale. We ordered 40bags of T5 top dressing, made by Bathgate, on two separate occasions this year . on both occasions the product was unusable in our spreader due to being packaged wet when manufactured. this caused us huge problems .. the dressing was to cover large reseeded areas after 3 hours of punching 25,000 holes into the green then brushing in the seed. I phoned our local supplier who did his best to replace the wet bags with dry ones but of course by then our team of helpers had gone home. The worst part is that when I phoned bathgate to complain the person responsible passed the job on to a subordinate who could not be bothered to phone me up.. so I phoned again the day after.. I was told they would phone me in 5 minutes. I am still waiting. Do not expect good quality or good service from this lot! David Hanson
