Dearne Valley College

Communication from staff is bordering on non existent, as an adult learner I would have thought my concerns would have been taken more seriously but all I have done this school year is chase tutors for replies to emails and feedback on my assignments. Raising these concerns with the tutors and other members of staff haven't gotten me anywhere and all this year has done for me is cause stress and exacerbate my already existing anxiety and physical health problems due to stress. Staff turn over in the animal department is never ending and the burden of this is placed on the students, course pathways cancelled, units being forgotten to be taught, rushed deadlines... I could go on. Completely disappointed with this college and have already cancelled my application for the following year, it's just not worth it.

The entire RNN group is a shambles. Took them 2 years to give me my results! That’s only because I had to keep ringing and emailing reminding them!I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. I also am being made to pay my student loan in full even though I stayed on the course longer than they said, I also have proof of this but it’s not enough apparently.

So I applied for a course mid February 2021 for a course that started 22.02.21 I received an email saying I would be contact back. Nearly 2 months pass I finally get a call of someone for Rotherham college on the 14.04.21 saying my details were going to be passed on and I would get a call later that day and the lady I spoke to said she would follow it it......its the 16.04.21 and still not heard anything so I rang the college myself and spoke to guy who said the lady I need to speak was on a call and he would get her to ring me. Its now 4.30pm college closed! Fills me with great confidence that they know what they are doing?! Tempted to go elsewhere and try my luck with another college that actually cares for education! Don't say you're going to call when you evidently have no intentions of doing so. Fine example!

I only took my son to enroll for his next year at the college. He enjoys the course and says all tutors are helpful and good to talk too and gives him all the help and support he needs.

Arrived here today to complete some training and have a few meetings. I was there all day and thought the campus was great.

They don't send your child the bus fair they don't send the bus tickets they never call you back after you leave voicemails

Met some interesting people and spent some good time here with with amazing staff and friends which would love to meet and catch up with in the future, this is a special place that made me find myself in life, cheers to the business team Paula bill sadly rip and Louise

terrible facility's had my first year, then came back to the plastering bay walls in horrible condition all cracked and now we can't plaster until they are nocked down and rebuilt

Shocking college tutors leave half way through the course then chasing results for 3 months they have no idea what they are doing at this college and the experience is so bad would not recommend anyone to this college if you are thinking about going here don’t
