Absolutely thrilled to have stumbled across Sam and the crew for my daughter’s drum lessons. She’s been going for a year or so. Going strong, progressing fast and most importantly, still loving it. You’ll see people of all backgrounds, ages and skill levels turning up each week. Friendly, approachable and accommodating. Y’all won’t regret it.

An incredible studio/space to learn in and at great value. The teachers are reliable, thoughtful and manage to keep the theory side of learning both fun and engaging. I manage to get a lot out of a 30min session, which is useful during busier weeks but of course I get more out of an hour. Would highly recomend to anyone at any stage in their craft.

We would like to thank everyone at Bang Studios, especially Simon, for the incredible tuition this year. Our son absolutely loves his weekly routine at the studio and we look forward to seeing further progress going forward.The studio have been great at communicating with us and we believe they are offering our son great role modeling as the teachers display commitment and passion for what the do.Highly recommend.

After unsuccessful drum lessons offered at his previous school, our son started going to BANG five years ago. The BANG teacher (Sam) made a difference immediately, and we heard the improvements after the first session. Though it's an extra effort to take the little ones to their music lessons, having a good teacher is absolutely key to the enjoyment of any instrument. The teachers are extremely friendly and supportive. I am so pleased to have made the decision to switch to BANG!

Really been enjoying my lessons with Sam at BANG. Decided I wanted to pick up drums as a recreational hobby (as an adult) a year ago and I've had so much fun over the year. Sam is a great teacher and super talented, he understands my motivation to learn. I'm able to dictate what I want to learn, be it topic or music genre, which makes such a difference to how I've experienced music lessons before. Highly recommend!

I've had about 6 months of lessons with Sam now and he's taken me from a complete novice to being actually able to play the drums. He's very patient and really takes the time to explain clearly both how and why to do certain things in a particular way. He's been incredibly flexible with working my lessons into my schedule and I've come away from every session feeling noticeable better and more confident on the kit. If you're looking for lessons in the area you won't find better.

Have been going to lessons with Sam for the past 8 months and would highly recommend BANG Drum School to anyone interested in picking up some sticks! Sam is an engaging, encouraging teacher and I was able to push myself a lot further than I imagined in just a few sessions. The lessons are also reflective of what I want to learn and focus on which is great, and practicing at home has become a lot more enjoyable. Having had lessons previously, I’m impressed by the progress I’ve made with Sam and I look forward to my lesson each week!

My son, Gene, 9 years old, has been learning to play the drums with Jake now for over a year and loves the sessions. It has helped to foster a genuine love of music in him and he has developed a real confidence with the drums. Jake is a very patient and generous teacher who is incredibly supportive of his pupils.

Sam has been teaching me drums for over 9 months now and I am very happy with all I have learned so far. I like that Sam really takes the time to explain things to me and never doubts to explain something twice if needed! He really adjusts the learning process according to what works best for every student. Also, the use of two drum kits (one for teacher and one for student) within the lessons is a huge win if wanting to explain something efficiently. Sam also provides exercises to practice at home which are super helpful in order to learn quickly! Overall I would highly recommend the drum school if wanting to learn drums from the basics but also if you are looking to pick up the hobby again.

I’ve been with BANG drum school for about a year now and I love it!I have lessons with Sam (and have also had lessons with Jake) both of whom are fantastic teachers and easy to get along with.Sam makes the lessons fun and gives the freedom of being able to choose genre and songs that you’d enjoy learning. He also gives options for which skill to learn next rather than rattling through a set menu (sorry).All in all having a great time with my lessons and have no intention of moving on anytime soon. Would recommend to anyone of any skill as the school teachers a range of ability.CHEERS SAM
