Just a roadside stop for a spot of breakfast on way home from holidays...cob and sarnie were nice and filling, hot and tasty...portaloo out the back of the cafe was clean and a welcome extra.

Lovely little cafe on the side of the road with a lovely view, if your on the way to climb this is a must stop for some food before! Staff very friendly and good food. Would recommend A*

Had a beautiful breakfast sandwich and coffee. Awesome views, probably the most stunning cafe I have ever been too. I can't wait until the next time I pass on the A5. 10/10

Food with view!My son and I were on our way to Bangor and I wanted to take the scenic route from the south. I'm glad we did. We saw this cafe's flags on our way up the hill so we dived into the lay-by. It was back in April. The couple running it were very friendly and food was great. We ate our sausage and egg breakfast rolls al fresco with a view to die for. You sit under a taverna outside. I can't wait to find an excuse to visit up there again so I can stop at the Toll Gate cafe. Cheers you guys

Quick to order as not to busy ordered burger and chips andBurger was mouth watering food excellent if u pass stop and enjoy lovely staff and nice views in aswell.Dont pass it bye

Loved this place! Amazing people. Super friendly! And apparently I was the first person to order cheesy chips for breakfast! I was with another 10 people who all ordered normal breakfasts. And they all enjoyed it. Its food with a view. But it is undercover and still outdoors so can be chilly!

Worse breakfast ever. I couldnt eat it. Poor quality sausage, margarine on the toast and not butter and undercooked egg which had no taste. Certainly not worth 23 for two small breakfasts and two drinks.
