TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - GUESTS TOOK FOOD POISONING!I had recently attended a wedding with my family, which was catered by Momentous (01/10/2023). Firstly the food was cold and off. Seekh kebabs were burnt on the outside but still raw on the inside, chicken was pink, and the fish was runny! For mains, our naan breads were all wet and stuck together - a sign that these had been cooked days before and were simply just reheated from being in the freezer for a long time! Curries were cold, and there was an extremely disgusting smell coming from the pasta - if I was to compare this to any smell, the first thing that comes to mind is vomit! And to top it off, we were offered “tea” at the end of the function, which wasn’t actually tea! It was simply just warm milk, how could you even put this out??!And to top it off I had to take 2 days off work as well, as my family and I all woke up with food poisoning the next day. After speaking to other family members that were also at the event, we soon came to find that basically everyone had food poisoning! It’s a shame really because there were families that travelled from afar such as Wales and even Australia.I am writing this review as I want to warn anyone who is thinking of using Momentous as caterers for their special event. If you enjoy undercooked/off food, and food poisoning for 2/3 days after eating their food then I most definitely recommend you book this company for your special day!NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

WORST CATERING SERVICE EVER! Went to a wedding recently and got food poisoning. The next day I heard everyone from the event got food poisoning and the company is avoiding all contact with the family who planned the event. Do yourself a favour and tell everyone to never use this catering service ever! If I could give them 0 or even minus stars I would 100% be giving them that. Horrible service and horrible food. What else is memorable at a wedding? WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. REVIEW FOR TWO EVENTS ON 16 JULY 2023 and 1 OCTOBER 2023.Terrible experience with these caterers!! momentous catered my sisters wedding and everything was incorrect. The decor and food they picked was not delivered at the wedding itself and there were safety hazards that caused some of our guests to fall of the walkway! They also did not put out a separate table (even though we requested this) for the bride and groom so they had no where to sit!! Some guests had to give up their seat so we could seat them. No explanation or apology provided and Ajaz completely avoided any phone calls following the wedding. Completely ridiculous!They also catered another family friends wedding which was horrendous and resulted in ALL guests getting food poisoning for several days afterwards. As a catering company, you would expect them to take care when cooking and storing food but they clearly do not. They should be reported and shut down immediately!!! Once again, rather than taking any accountability and apologising, they have avoided all phone calls and think they can just get away with this. Please do not use them!!They are also getting friends to leave fake 5* reviews so they are clearly seeing these reviews and choosing to ignore them. Terrible company and terrible service.

Momentous events and catering,they are doing excellent serives. Ajaz, was very friendly and delivered the event just as we want. The food was very good, the starters are too yummy. Loved it. The team was also very helpful and they did there job very good. Overall, the enjoyed the event wholeheartedly.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! ABSOLOUTELY TERRIBLE!Attended a wedding reception last weekend where the food served to us by Momentous resulted in terrible food poisoning lasting several days and forcing us to take time off work. Our kids were affected as well as the whole wedding party of about 100 people including elderly and those with underlying health issues! It is now 72 hours after we attended the function and we are still feeling sickly.Absolutely disgusted and shocked at the attitude and service provided by the company. They should be ashamed of themselves for hustling their customers out of so much money and providing food which failed to meet basic food standards.

*FOOD POISONING*Horrible service. I went to a wedding on the 2nd of September 2023 and the food serviced was horrible. The pasta was off, and everyone knew it. The Naans were wet indicating that they were frozen, and the curry was cold. This led to food poisoning and after contacting other guests it's clear that everyone had food poisoning.After speaking to the groom, I find out that the owner is dodging his calls! Momentous should not be in the catering business. He has ruined what was meant to be a wonderful day for the family. He should have his business shut down.

We used Momentous for my sisters wedding and everything was amazing from the decor to the food. Ajaz was really helpful throughout the process and was always available. Would definitely recommend

Second time attending a Mementous catered function - NOT ACCEPTABLE!First time was for a relative’s wedding day. On the day, food was not up to the standard that at it should be for a supposedly “experienced” company like this. Food was cold and was not up to the standards that it should have been.And at the second event (02/10/2023) we attended a more recent cousin’s wedding, where nearly ALL guests have had food poisoning today (the next day). I have also taken food poisoning, and I don’t understand how a company like this can be giving guests food poisoning! They served fish that was runny, seekh kebabs that were frozen, and pasta that had a very bad smell coming from it. And to top if off, we were told we were getting tea, but it was only warm milk -which was offered right at the end when most guests had left.It’s a real shame to be leaving such a bad review, but I wouldn’t have wished this on my worst enemy! Unacceptable!It’s a shame they’re getting a star off me. If it was up to me (and not Google Reviews), they wouldn’t be getting any stars.

Momentous Catering - I'd give them ZERO if I could. I attended my cousin's wedding in Glasgow on 01/10/23. The venue was amazing, my cousin had organised everything so well. It's just a shame she booked this company. The food was horrible. Chicken was raw, kebabs were raw, fish wasn't fresh. And that was just the starters. The mains comprised of a vomit infused pasta and tasteless curries which were served cold. The naan was all stuck together and well I've made and had plenty biryani's in my lifetime - and what was served was definitely not biryani. No flavour and cold. Not sure how this company could serve food this way.To top this all off, my family have been off work and school whilst we have been recovering from food poisoning received from the food eaten on this day made by this company.Seems as though the company have taken the money and not bothered with ensuring they provide good cooked food on someone's special day. They have forever tainted the memories associated with this special day for the couple and their family and friends. Highly disappointed, and will ensure that I do NOT recommend Momentus Catering to any family or friends EVER.

Momentous is a good choice for events in Scotland, catering to both Scottish and Asian occasions. Their commitment to excellence extends beyond event delivery and their exceptional catering services. The entire team approaches each event with the dedication and enthusiasm as if it were their own. The attention to detail in decorations is noteworthy, and the wide array of delicious food offerings, particularly the starters, is a too delicious. The event manager and the team deserve commendation for their exemplary work. I wholeheartedly recommend Momentous as the top choice for wedding events, given their consistently outstanding performance.
