Cannot recommend highly enough.When fitting some replacement taps in my kitchen I found that one of the flexi tailpipes (30mm) was too short to reach the copper pipe.I tried x2 DIY stores and x2 other plumbers merchants in person (wont name them but they are all close to each other off North Road) none of whom could help. Said there was no longer pipe available and would need to get a plumber to extend copper pipe.Before going to that expense my brother-in-law recommended I try these first. I called at 4:50pm, he said he had a 500mm pipe in store which would do the job and that as he was staying behind after closing he would keep the shop open for me. On arrival he said the required part was not in fact in stock and he had called back but unfortunately I rang on my land line. However, he did have another shorter flexi pipe and connector that would do the same job by connecting it to my pipe, He could have ordered the other part in but as this was only costing me £3 I decided not to bother with the wait.Very friendly and very helpful with extra advice on fitting and they will be my 1st choice for any plumbing parts.

Top place best around for plumbing gear not always the cheapest but service more than makes up for it. If you want cheap buy off internet then don't call a plumber when it fails

Amazing service from start to finish.Unfortunately and through no fault at all of Independent Heating & Plumbing Supplies I had a leaking water heater, which had been built by another company, to replace my old water heater.Stuart was amazing, he re-assured me that he would liaise with the company to have the fault rectified or another water heater built. In addition my original plumber became unwell so couldn't undertake the refit of the replacement water heater.Stuart came to the rescue again by putting me in touch with another plumber who did a great job and replaced the leaking water heater with the replacement.He didn't just stop at this, which many companies would. He then on my behalf pursued the manufacturer of the water heater to reimburse me for the additional costs incurred due to the replacement refit.I cannot recommend this company enough, for anyone who are looking for a company who will go the extra mile, look no further.Thank you again.

We recently purchased a bathroom suite from Independent with the help of Stu, nothing was too much trouble, extremely good value for money, arrived when it was supposed to and looks great. Very happy customer.

Decided to use a local company for my new bathroom products and glad I did. Stuart was fabulous from start to finish. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the products he is selling. Nothing was ever too much trouble which made the process a lot easier. Great quality and value for money. I would highly recommend these guys and I will definitely be using them again very soon.
