Very good experience with Christina the audiologist. She has a lovely professional manner and is very caring with her clients. She listens to your needs tailoring the hearing aid to suit your lifestyle whilst ensuring that everything is explained carefully and is available for any follow up queries. The Pindrop practice in the Kings Road is excellent and Georgia the receptionist has also been very helpful in arranging follow up appointments and answering some questions I had. I have no hesitation in recommending Christina and in fact have already done so.

Could hear that some wax was affecting my hearing a little, and so I made the schoolboy error of using a cotton bud to try and fix it. Big mistake. I've done it many times before, even knowing it was strongly recommended not to... but anyway this time it blocked it completely and I could barely hear in that ear, and couldn't improve it myself. Such an annoying feeling. Also could hear very loud white noise style tinnitus in that ear when the background noise got quiet. Pindrop Hearing microsuctioned out the wax—not only could I see the change on camera very clearly, but I'm hearing everything so much more crisply, even a few days later! The wax must have been blocking high frequencies that I didn't even realise I was missing. Not a cheap service but very good and totally worth it.
