Ford Village Shop & Post Office

As usual, lovely visit. Had larger back room this weekend, plenty of space and great bathroom. Jenny filled us up again with her lovely breakfast and grateful for the fruit for our return journey. Cannot recommend this cute BnB enough. Thank you both once again, and hopefully see you again soon. All CoVid precautions taken. Location is stunning, beautiful Village x Perfect if you like to cycle.

Stayed here a few months ago, the rooms were very cozy and the location of the place was good. There was lots to see around the place and we enjoyed walking around the village. The breakfast we got every morning was very tasty. The people working there were really nice and interested in conversation. Everything was a bit of a drive away but it didn't really matter to us. Overall it was a very nice stay. :)

Lovely post office and cafe and corner shop. Nice people. Amazing to sit outside under the awning in the (light) rain looking out onto the manicured village of Ford having cake and coffee!

Excellent café Lavazza on site. You can buy newspapers and there's even a box outside for free books. Lovely in summer with view over the row of charming houses and green grass perfectly mowed. The estate is beautiful

Beautiful small village with a lovely small B&B with amazing hosts they were so welcoming and kind and made our stay enjoyable they gave advice on places to eat out and visit. The cooked breakfast was delicious each morning. Would definitely come and stay here again without doubt : )

Rented some bikes from Ford Village Shop. Graham was excellent getting us set up and even helped when our little girl cut her leg. Really peaceful place and a nice way to spend a morning cycling through Ford and Etal.

We called in to Ford & Etal on our way to Coldstream and Duns during a week based nearby in Wooler. As it was early March the estates were quiet and the weather was changeable. We were happy to find that the post office and village shop also had a dog friendly tea room and so popped in for a cuppa.Ordering tea in a cafe can often be a bit of a lottery as so many places now put much more emphasis on providing a never ending array of coffees with ridiculous names. To my intrigue and delight I was presented with a glass pot of tea made with fresh leaves. It was quite simply the nicest 2 cups of tea ever.The shop stocks Brew Tea Co merchandise and I was tempted to make a purchase there and then, however the shop owner advised that the company has an excellent website and that a monthly subscription provides the tea via the post!On returning home I ordered a two person teapot, which arrived yesterday and is now my favourite 'new toy'

Sincere thanks from five tired and weary pensioners who got lost on a walk in and around Etal today. The lovely gentleman from Ford Post office and cafe gave us a lift to our destination. What an absolute star. Words cannot express our gratitude. Safely back home now in Whitley Bay. This guy is a saint!!!!!!!! Thank you so much from us all. Knockout cups of tea too. An highly recommend!!!!
