Groom Dog City

Every time my Greyhound comes out of here she looks lovely and smells lovely too. They really do a good job.

UPD: After the director's response, it was clear to me that this salon uses a different tool than the vets. I googled it and it looks safe for dogs. So I'm changing my review. Thanks guys for clarifying the situation!I'm sorry to leave this review, but I found out that this salon does ultrasonic teeth cleaning without sedation. Modern grooming salons stop providing this service as it has to be done by a vet and only under anaesthesia as it is very stressful for dogs. I sincerely hope this grooming salon will reconsider their policy and stop doing this procedure as I would love to use their services as I live close by.

My doggy went to get a bath and a haircut. They thought it was troublesome to untie the knots, so they shaved off all the hair. However, both of my dog's ears were damaged and bleeding can not stop and had huge scabs around 3x3 cm after few days. My dog ​​shook his head all the time. they still charged for 70 + pounds，the reason why my dog has knots because I had to put him to day care he usually play with other dogs and sometimes saliva makes hair sticks I do brush him, but the grom city blam me? I spent 70 + pounds for this? Seriously?

My lil Yorkshire terrier has been going to groom dog city for 8 years now. We feel part of the family, with Stu the owner. We call him uncle Stu. Such a friendly approach from the staff. We love what they do and how they do it. The best dog groomers by far xx

My basset fauve is always in very good hands at groom dog city. He gets hand stripped twice a year and they take great care of him - I feel confident that they have prioritized his comfort and safety in while achieving the breed standard look. Nail trims and baths are always a breeze - my dog is always happy to go in to see the team and behaves nicely for his treats

Beware this groomer. We took our wire-haired dachshund to this place, and asked for him to be hand stripped - as per breed standard. The staff evidently have no knowledge of what breed standard is. They used clippers / scissors to cut short his beard in spite of us being very clear that this shouldn't happen. When we complained and gave them a second chance to make things right, the result was even worse. His beard was cut even shorter (again, with scissors or clippers). When we complained to the manager / owner, Stuart, he basically said that he would always defend his staff"

Groom Dog City is fab! The team are amazing and I really appreciate how pet centric they are! It’s never easy leaving your pooch anywhere but I know they will look after Daisy with care and professionalism! I also don’t envy them with cutting Daisy’s claws as she’s an absolute Madame when anyone goes near them, but they do it with care and for that I’m very grateful! We’ve been using GDC since she was a puppy and I’d genuinely not want to go anywhere else as Stuart and his team are wonderful!

I have never washed my 7 year old Chow Chow or had him groomed but he was itchy and scratchy I decided to give it a try. Cintia at Groom Dog City did a wonderful job with him, sent me videos and photos along the way. He is lovely and fluffy now.
