The captain is EXTREMELY rude. There is a way to handle unforeseen circumstances with your customers professionally. Today was graduation for a local university. The parking lot the company recommended had zero parking. The captain told us that we would not be unable to attend the boat tour if more than 5 minutes late, but could join the walking tour. We were never given a meeting time or place for the walking tour. We arrived to the dock 5 minutes late. A young dark haired girl approached us and told us we could join the 1530 boat tour. We spent the day killing time in Bath awaiting the 1530 tour.Once we arrived to the dock at 1530 the Captain was very unprofessional. He admitted the other worker was incorrect in telling us to return at 1530. Rather than find a solution for us, he preferred to argue in front of all of his other customers already on the boat awaiting departure. He continued to let us stand there for another 5 minutes waiting after the last customer boarded. Only THEN were we told there were no spots available. Again, he continued to argue. Offered for us to again join the walking tour. Who wants to join a tour with someone who has been so rude and unprofessional with you?! At that point we walked away because it was inappropriate behavior. He never once offered for us for us to switch to another day or tour. We never asked for a refund, we simply had asked to join another tour.There is terrible miscommunication with him, his staff members and his customers.After all of this occurred, he sent a message saying for us to repurchase the tickets if we wanted to join the 1530 tour. Meaning, there were spots available for the boat tour all along.

We did the Prosecco river cruise and we loved it! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice relaxing experience and got a few lovely photos! Would 100% recommend so glad we did it thank you!

Paul and Abi were delightful as they explained the history of Bath via boat tour with an added delight of Prosecco. We felt at ease and comfortable. They were friendly and engaging and we really enjoyed the ride. We only came to Bath for a day trip and I would highly recommend this boat tour to soak in as much as possible in a short amount of time. Thank you Paul and Abi for your hospitality.

It was such a lovely time, they were all so friendly and learnt a lot about Baths history. The boat ride was relaxing, and the walk was nice and easy, so we didn't feel rushed. They took a lovely picture of us outside the Abby, which is a good keep-sake. I would highly recommend it if you have the time spare and would like a bit of extra knowledge.

Nice little boat tour on river Avon. Hosted by Katy and skipper Paul. Selection of drink available to buy if so wished. Walking tour immensely helpful in orienting us to Bath. Joshua our walking tour guide informative and passionate about Bath history. Have us good tips on things to see/do and restaurants to eat. Thank you to all.

Thanks so much for a perfect Sunday afternoon ride along the river for me and the lad with additional needs I care for. You really went above and beyond and we appreciated it so much! & learnt new facts about Bath as a Bathonian. Highly recommend and would love to come again!

A very pleasant little trip, plenty of Prosecco, a few sight seeing facts along the way and a brilliant view of the weir. The team were lovely. We had a great time.

We went on a lovely river boat this weekend. The tour was nice and Jess was a great guide. In all honestly there’s not much to see but they were generous with the Prosecco and the boat was pretty!

We were so disapointed by the way we were treated by River Adventures.My family came all the way from Southern France to visit Somerset, so I booked this tour so that they could discover Bath.We were sent a link indicating where the meeting point was. The link did not work on my phone and because there was no written explanation describing where to find the meeting point we did not know where to go. We called River Adventure but no one picked up. We called back and when someone finally picked up (8 minutes after the tour was suposed to start) we were told that that the boat had left. They did not even bother calling us. When I asked to speak to the manager, Paul, he coldly asked me to contact Trip Advisor instead. He clearly did not care or want anything to do with us.We felt so unwelcome. It was such a disapointing introduction to Bath.Although they invited us to join the walking tour - which we did and which was nice - the boat tour was what we were really looking forward to (in particular the children).I then sent a message complaining to which they replied late at night saying that we could join another boat tour the next morning early. My family had already left, but in any event the invite came too late and was not sincere.It looks to me like this company has lost its purpose. They run one tour right after the other and have little interest in offering visitors an unforgettable experience.I asked to be partially reimbursed but did not get a confirmation.

I highly recommend for a hen do we had a great time. The staff were lovely really knowledgeable about the history of Bath. The Prosecco flowed freely and a good time was had by everyone on board.
