Torbay and District funeral service are excellent!They made a daunting task much easier. We wanted a happy celebration of my fathers life and Sarah and her team delivered the perfect send off. They took the time to understand our ideas and their anything is possible attitude was brilliant at such a difficult time.We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a friendly, compassionate and professional service.

From the very start, with a home visit from Sarah to our son-in-law’s house,Torbay and District Funeral Service showed their professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all of our wishes were listened to and accommodated. Our daughter was cared for with love and respect, by Kate, in the Chapel of rest.Equally importantly we were shown great compassion and empathy from all the staff that we met. Our daughter’s funeral arrangements were made less stressful and less unbearable, for us as a family and we cannot thank Sarah, Kate and their team enough.

Sarah and her team handled my late father's funeral with complete professionalism from the initial meeting to the beautiful service at the crematorium. The respect and care given by all members of her team was exceptional and helped the entire family through the hard process of the funeral arrangements at this difficult time.The Chapel was beautiful and clean, along with the vehicles.Thank you all so much.

I chose Torbay & District as they looked after my Mum's arrangements some years ago and we were very impressed with them. This time was no different. They were thoroughly professional from first contact. Very open and honest with options available and the costs associated. Amanda in the office really cared that we got the arrangements we wanted and was so helpful throughout, both before and after the funeral. Sarah was such a help on the day, keeping an eye on everyone to ensure were were ok, she really did a fantastic job to help us give my wife the send off we wanted. I would highly recommend Torbay and district funeral service, Sarah and Katie dealt with my daughters funeral arrangements in such an efficient way, but with great care and compassion during this extremely emotional time for my family. there help with the choice of coffin and flowers was very welcome, and on the day it looked beautiful. Katie took me into a room to see my daughter, she said that I could hold her hand, and I saw she was at peace. Katie dealt with me with such compassion which I could tell was genuine. Sarah attended the funeral, and the funeral celebrant they recommended conducted the service beautifully, I would highly recommend having a celebrant, it added a lot to the service. Thank you Katie and Sarah for all you’ve done for me and my daughter.

At such a difficult time, from the moment we walked through the door they held our hand all the way through and gave us confidence with compassion and care about the choices we needed to make for the funeral.Katie was extremely helpful with the perfect approach and attitude needed to deal with families at such a sensitive time. The service provided was exceptional. The staff were delightful (thank you Emma and team!) and very understanding. They could not have done more to make it a positive and happy experience.
