The Hotel is tired looking and in need of updating/decorating.Having stayed in many different Hotels in the area, this was not worth the price for what it was.We could have forgiven that if it wasn't for the terrible service at the end of our visit. The initial staff that greeted us were really nice and friendly, but unfortunately that was ruined when we checked out, as the service was way below what we would expect. We paid for a late check out and were then allowed to leave the car in the car park for a while longer. We were late coming back to the car, but were then told that we should have been back at 12:00" (the extended checkout was until 2?!) - and also that they "needed the space". There were plenty of Hotel spare car park spaces

Terrible hotel. A friend was given the basement room which smelt stale (health hazard), and the windows couldn't be opened. According to them it was for security reasons. Asked for a different room due to allergies but was told they were fully booked. Lady at the front desk didn't seem fazed at all even when we asked for a refund (yes it stated no refund when paying, but come on there should be exceptions especially in such a situation). Very very sad and unfair to treat people like they are nothing. This was at night and she couldn't be bothered. Checked for a room and said she couldn't do anything as they were fully booked. So we left without a room or money back. Please avoid! They are absolutely fine with you leaving your money for them even when they are at fault. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible hotel, staff are really rude!Turned up, they didn’t even want you there.. told us no beer until later, but a other gentleman was sat there drinking, they said you can have tea or coffee, and gave us mouldy milk. We didn’t end up staying and they still charged me twice, absolutely disgusting and shouldn’t be able to host anyone.

The location is great. You just need to cross the street and you are on the beach. Close enough to the town centre to have easy access, and enough distance to not have problems with noise. Team was friendly, and breakfast was good, in my opinion just enough size. The carpark is very limited, and I suggest booking parking somewhere in advance. The bar is quite nicely equipped but the night shift bartender need some more experience. Room is generally not bad, but there is no AC and the window opening just a little. Twice my door card was not working properly and I need to return to reception. Little bit expensive but it's Brighton, and compared to other hotels in this location it is not bar

Right on the pier/ beachfront, stones throw from the i360 attraction. Great service, great breakfast, one member of staff was brilliant with my autistic / adhd nephew and made him feel extra special which was lovely to see. Rooms nice and big :) perfect would stay again

The staff was friendly and they sorted very issue that we had. Even though we had to pay extra for sea view and in a better room. We did have a small issue in the room but was refunded the price of a lower level and and free breakfast. Thanks to the lady Eve and the Spanish manager cannot remember his name but both of them were so helpful and fantastic all in all we had a great stay. Breakfast was really nice. We had a really lovely lady who served us breakfast who made us feel welcomed and very chatty and polite. When we checked in the staff was lovely, we was put on the 4th floor, they had a lift which was dodgy and slow and could only hold 4 people at the time. So we took the stairs. When we got to the 4th floor, the floor boards were very uneven, the room was dated. Very small, and ended overlooking at the back of the building. Straight rang to to reception and explained that we wasn't very happy with the room and lift and the view. We was told we had to pay extra which was no problem. The staff was friendly about it. Then they gave us another room which was was very happy with and with sea view and double doors even though it could only open slightly much bigger room more bright and a lower level so that me and my mum didn't have to use the lift.

I stayed here as I was in Brighton for an event. The room wasn't great. Very outdated, the TV in a strange location, the room was very hot as the heating was on outside the room. I couldn't open the window as it didn't open to an actual outside area like the streets. The heating I was told couldn't be turned off. The shower needed repairing as part of it wad hanging off. Thankfully, the maintenance man was rather quick to attend. The bathroom itself wasn't very clean. The staff, to an extent, were helpful. The location was perfect if you want somewhere to stay by the seafront. But for £145 per night, the room could have been better.

Location is undoubtedly excellent but I’m surprise that they have literally a good vegetarian breakfast. I was afraid that would have only meat, chicken and all but happy to found something for vegetarian people. Room was beautiful with every essential items . Staff was humble and helpful

We had a sea view room and it was lovely but the bed was rock hard and 1 pillow each on the bed. Spare pillows not security sealed. Breakfast was nice but small for men.... if you wanted more than 1 option it was £8.50 extra ....a choice of fruit ....pancakes.... eggs on toast....traditional English with 1 sausage I bit of bacon 1 egg tomato beans and mushrooms. So if you wanted eggs on toast and fruit you pay for the breakfast £16 I think plus £8.50 for the fruit. That said.....It was OK though.Walls are paper thin ...... you hear EVERYTHING ..... but for 1 night was OK but Any longer I think would have been a struggle.
