The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast
Stayed here on business for a couple nights and it may be classed as a 5 star hotel, but it certainly didn’t feel like it. Service was great on arrival and I was kindly upgraded which made the morning. However, my shower tap fell off, the electrics were all pretty outdated and the gym was really quite offensive. It has 3 old machines in a tiny room with no air conditioning. Breakfast service was good but food pretty basic. I’ve stayed in far better 4 star hotels so don’t expect to be blown away by this establishment.

Great service, great location and great food.Stayed here on business for a couple of nights and everything from check-in to check-out was spot on.The staff are really helpful and friendly and the room had everything I needed with an AC unit that worked well and a big comfy bed.Close to the city centre, it was less than a 5 min walk for me to the office.Breakfast was chilled and relaxed and the cooked breakfast was very generous.I’d highly recommend staying here.

Came here for a weekend away with the wife. The staff here can't do enough for you with the service being excellent. Stayed for two nights and added breakfast. The concierge were so knowledgeable on the local area, it made our sightseeing so much easier, knowing where to go. It is expensive, but mostly worth it in a capital city. If I was being uber critical, I would say that the bathrooms don't quite meet the standards of the rest of the hotel, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great central location in easy reach of most places. Absolutely gorgeous rooms and the staff are all terrific. Good range of cocktails, but you will need to book into the bar in advance to secure a table on a Saturday night. Extensive breakfast range which was delicious. Really appreciate the turndown service, thank you.

Hands down the best service that we had had at any of the hotels we have stayed at in Ireland. The service here anticipated our needs at every turn and provided what we were looking for, often before we even asked. All of their staff have been extremely friendly, engaging, and helpful. An extra special call out to Peter from the concierge who was extremely engaging, very helpful, and made our stay just that much better through our interactions with him.Our room was very well furnished with a pleasing decor that matched the hotel very well. The room conveyed a significant sense of luxury and had the amenities to match. Only comment might be that the room was ever so slightly too small for the two of us and our bags, but we were able to make do and it was not a big problem.

Lovely hotel, we stayed here for a wedding anniversary and the staff were great and even left out some nice chocolates to celebrate.Great location to explore Belfast, affordable car park located adjacent.Rooms were stunning and the price wasn't through the roof

With a 5 star hotel you expect luxury as standard". You don't expect to park in a multi story down the road and hear traffic from your room at night. You don't expect to pay for water in the room or a mandatory 10% service charge in the bar for food Just disappointing as we were away for a special birthday and nothing about the hotel was special."

This hotel is beautiful and the room was really well presented, it had a separate shower and bath, which I find really rare these days.Check in was quick and easy and the reception gave us great suggestions for food and things to do.

We stayed at the Fitzwilliam Belfast on Sep 4-7, 2023 and it was the perfect destination to conclude our Honeymoon in Northern Ireland.The attention to detail from the staff was a really sweet surprise (they left a handwritten note and cupcake for our honeymoon/wedding anniversary). The food at the restaurant was delicious too, we had a great dinner there when we were too tired to explore the city.The highlight at The Fitzwilliam was for sure the concierge team. They were all incredible. They gave us great recommendations and tips for our itinerary to Giant's Causeway and great spots to eat in Belfast (Harlem Cafe was a great reccommendation for brunch!). They also hooked us up with the best walking tour guide (Paul Moyna) who was fantastic - educated and animated!Thank you everyone at the Fitz, and the grand city of Belfast!
