I wish I had contacted Karl before wasting hours trying to get my gears indexed and working properly. I would never had done it since I didn't recognise what was broken. Sigh. I guess that is why professionals are good to know. Good job, done well and quickly.

Fantastic and fast service. Karl figured out which Bottom Bracket I needed, as it was an unusual type, ordered it and had it fitted in a few days. Amazing workshop, friendly and knowledgeable, what more could you need? Happy to have a new place to look after my pride and joys. If you have a road bike that needs work Karl is the only option.

Absolutely fantastic, Karl recommended the Giro d’Italia service for my bike and it is now running as if it is brand new. He fit me in last minute as I have a race this weekend and the fact I didn’t need to leave home was such a bonus. 100% recommend and will be using his services now going forward!

Brilliant service. Karl did an awesome job on two bikes for me - two great services, new chains and deep cleans. Karl was super responsive, was able to come really quickly and then did a stellar job. Alongside that, he is a really nice guy which meant a great mid morning work break coffee chat! Would absolutely recommend and I certainly won’t be using anyone else for all bike related work in future.

My hardtail bike was well in need of some TLC. After years of riding, I had some issues with the back end. Velo offered me a personalised 1-2-1 service where they answered all of my questions regarding the issues I was having.They operate a clean and bespoke high end workshop and cleaned down any of the parts that needed some love.I was offered a prior consultation which meant all parts were there on day of my repair ensuring a fast turnaround. This was great as I desperately wanted to hit the trails as soon as it was fixed.After speaking with Velo and listening to the benefits of wax over oil, I can confirm that I am now a waxed chain convert. Lifting the bike in and out of the car is a dream now as I don't get any nasty oil on my hands.Overall Velo offered me an outstanding service that I couldn't have got anywhere else. They listened to my issues and resolved them with full transparency. Have recommended to my pals who also ride, and they have been amazed at the service that Velo continuously offer.Thanks again guys and keep up the great work!

I recently bought a second-hand bike that needed a bit of work to get road worthy. Karl initially inspected the bike and advised on what work will be required and what parts will need to be replaced. After sourcing the parts, Karl serviced the bike and replaced the necessary parts. Since having the bike back for a couple of days now I am more than happy with it, it runs smoothly and without any issues. Great all-round bike shop offering a variety of services, highly recommend!

My bike feels like new after I got a full service. Karl was extremely thorough and I am really impressed with the result. He only replaced parts that required it and chatted through any questions I had. I use my bike to commute to work so I can’t afford to leave it at a shop for days and this was the perfect alternative. A very reasonable price for the convenience and excellent service.
